We're always waiting for something in life WB, something nice to arrive, something awful to be over with, I think it's the same for everybody to varying degrees :o What you're waiting for has a definite end in sight now so hang on to that thought and the positive knock on effects it will have for you and the DC's future.

Hope you've managed to de-stress a little as the day's gone on. You'll be making your birthday cake soon won't you :) xx

I never think you sound ungrateful!

My best friend is a worrier, there is nothing I can do to change that as much as I would love to  Once one worry resolves itself another worry takes it’s place  The difference with you is that you never have just the one worry as you have youngest’s health problems on top of everything else.

I think you are an amazing woman to deal with everything you do while being the best Mum you can :T

If I won the lottery your rent arrears would be paid off and a new bed would be yours ;)

  • I assume the worry is to do with your ex's name still being on the tenancy, but I quite see that all the worries are wrapped up in the same thing anyway and all you can do is keep plodding, as dear Beanie says.

If it ticks one tiny little worry off the list, please tick off "worrying about whether I come across as ungrateful". You absolutely don't, and we all admire how well you manage on what you have. If I had your situation I would be moaning to the rafters, frankly

Thank you all so much. It means so much to know I haven't come across wrong/ungrateful.

Keep plodding indeed. No one knows whats around the corner and when things can change good or bad (I hope it's good though :rotfl:)

    Thank you

Re a bed, have you considered a charity? I know the town where we used to live would take beds from house clearances and redistribute them to people in the district without one. There are a lot of elderly people who down-size into a two bedroom flat or house and buy new beds and then their spare room is hardly used. I went to an auction viewing at the weekend and there were two beds, both with what looked like brand new, completely unmarked mattresses. If you speak to Citizens Advice they will be able to advise whether there is one locally to you

Morning Wannabe hope your little one is feeling a bit better today.

I just wondered whether there is a support group for people with her health condition, and whether you might find it useful ?
