    Evening folks

Big, squishy hugs Dizzy. I'd go beat up a cushion on the floor (naming it appropriately as you go) as it always gets rid of my anger and makes me laugh at myself.

Text today from Chris the windows to say that the 8th of December has been booked - but I'm not holding my breath.

DH has now decided that he wants to have his meal at lunchtime, as they have messed up his times and he now doesn't start until 5.00 - 6.00pm atm - sigh. I can see his point, but it means I will now have to cook twice a day, as well as not being able to get on and do much until he's up at about 12.30 and then only working around him until he leaves at 4.30pm :(

I'm now really looking forward to our holibobs and a bit of warmth and sunshine. Yesterday was drab and dreary and today it has rained literally all day and still coming down now.

    Did dailies
    Spanish lessons done
Cleaned the bathroom thoroughly so tomorrow's done
Food cooked, scoffed and kitchen 'put to bed'

Pledge box now sorted down to three remaining files

Manic Monday - Kitchen and Dining Room/Area
MAD half hour ~ Have you got Christmas Cards to buy?

    Tuesday - Lovely Living Rooms
Vacuum floors in these areas, even if around clutter
Move things so you can vacuum under them

    Wednesday - Master Bedroom
Remove floordrobe, make sure all clothes are put away neatly
Strip bed linen and wash, replace with clean linen
    Vacuum floors in these areas
    Vacuum mattress

Hugs, sticks and spoons all round
Hope you all have a super Thursday

    Good morning everyone

Huge squishy hugs Dizzy. There seem to be a lot of tradespeople out there atm who are taking the proverbial. It's giving all the fab ones like ATB's DH a bad press. You are nearly there, honey. X

Yesterday didn't quite go to plan. I managed to catch up on level 1 for the past 3 days, and did DD's online order. Then I got the news that my best friend's DH was in ICU after a massive heart attack. I seriously need 2017 to end. Bizarrely that news upset me way more than FiL's death, or maybe it's the culmination of things.

What is nearly my final bag from the pledged wardrobe left the house yesterday. DH then came back from an evening at FiL's house with 3 suitcases, 2 holdalls, 2 large carrier bags and loose gibble which is now residing in my hall. Oh look, he says, the wardrobe in the spare room is empty, I can put some stuff in there . So much for having a clear out. And I keep finding various bits on window ledges, surfaces etc. I must be patient, I must be patient.....

    Morning all

Pigpen, could you please make space in your inbox so that I can PM you.

Hope today is a better day for you than yesterday, Dizzy - big (((hugs))) to you x
Keeping my fingers crossed for you for 8th Dec, lynnejk x
(((Hugs))) and supporting vibes to dancemum too - you sound worn out after all that flying x

Yesterday was a :( day here - I just couldn't get going and spent more time zzz-ing on the sofa than I had intended. College lectures on Tuesdays always take a lot out of me because they're so full-on and stimulating to the brain, then I can't sleep at night and consequently the next day is a wash-out. I did manage to S&S the kitchen and DH hoovered downstairs, so the house looked fine for friends who turned up for a planning meeting here yesterday evening (which generated a few ideas for an event in January and a lot more work :o), but Rosie's late afternoon walk was not a pleasant experience for either of us in the gathering gloom, and she will need a decent run through the woods later this morning.

    So today's plan is:
    - file a pile of papers that are cluttering up my desk
    - write a birthday card and GWS card
    - Fold aired washing and put away
    - S&S bathroom
    - add more notes to the outline plan for my essay
    - walk Rosie for an hour, and deliver the GWS card
    - lunch
    - short sharp shop in town - post that card, go to MrA1, the freezer place, bargains shop, and building society :money:
    - take R for another short walk *before dark*
    - work on the essay until tea time
    - prep a lunch box for DH, who is planning to catch the 6.15 train on Friday morning to go and spend the day helping to set up a model railway exhibition at the NEC - this is the one where last year he caught pneumonia, so I'm very much hoping history doesn't repeat itself
    - relax for the evening and get to bed early

Right, time to get DH out of bed so that we can have breakfast at a reasonably early hour. (((Hugs))) spoons and sticks all round, as needed. Catch up later x

Lynne & Dizzy .... I am angry for you both - there is no other line of work where you would get away with not turning up, being late, finishing at lunch - its shocking!!!
