Thanks Wendy. I must admit I'm starting to feel stronger every day. Hopefully it's the tablets kicking in. The only down side (or plus side) is that the weight is dropping off me. I think it's the stress. I could do with losing a stone but after that I start to look skeletal so lets hope it'll get sorted before I turn into a skeleton

Have had a reply off British Gas this morning, they have offered me £30 compensation for 8 days without hot water. These people are having a laugh. Don't really know what to do, whether to accept it or argue the point. Will have a think about it over the weekend and decide next week.
Have also decided to do 2 little hampers for my mum for Christmas. These can be off the kids. DS is doing a small one with deodorant, shower gel, soap, shampoo, bubble bath and a scrunchie in and DS is doing her a baking one with flour sugar, icing sugar, castor sugar, paper cases and cake decorations in it. He's forever nagging her for cakes so this will make her smile. I also orderd the complete 4 seasons of NCIS for J's hamper. I know he loves this programme and that he hasn't got any of the DVD's so that should make him smile. He's not looking forward to Christmas this year as last year he was married. I've asked him to spend Christmas with us but I've got the feeling he'll spend it with his mum and dad.0 -
Happy Monday everyone. Not had a bad weekend. Enjoyed Saturday night at J's and had an enjoyable day yesterday doing very little. Been to clinic this morning with DD, luckily her blood tests werenormal but they have asked us to come back in another month to see if she's still in pain.
Nothing much on the money front to report other than the fact that I've spent nearly all of my Christmas savings. Was planning on keeping £250 but checked online banking today and I've only got £50 left
I have had a letter off the Halifax though telling me that as the interest rate has gone down my mortgage payments will be £25 per month less. Very happy with that.0 -
Hi GR
Good Luck for your mediation meeting. Try and stay calm, easy to say I know, but you've done absolutely nothing wrong, Remember that in the meeting. You want it resolved, and that's a good thing. The mediators will be on your side
The hampers sound really good too. They'll look lovely when you put it all together.
Let us know how the meeting went. I'll be thinking about you and sending you some positive vibes.

Thanks Diz, Yesterday I was feeling positive about the meeting and felt 'ready' for it. Today however, I'm shaking like a leaf. I'm really not looking forward to it and if I could get out of it I would. Will pop back on later this afternoon and report what happened.0

Thanks Diz and Wendy. The meeting went better than expected for me. As soon as we sat down she kicked off, she was abusive, swearing and aggressive. I didn't have to say anything as she done it all herself !!!!!
Mediators were quite shocked that this is the 'npormal' her. I was calm, composed and didn't cry. I spoke calmly about all the issues I had and even when she had a right go at me about an incident which had happened a few months back I remained professional and calmly explained why I acted in that particular way. I think I came from there looking like the good girl.
I feel really relieved but I'm not ready to go back to work just yet. I'm going to wait until my sick note runs out and go back to work then. Let them sweat it out a bit longer

Well GR a leopard never changes its spots. What a thoroughly nasty person she is. But I'm glad she did that, as the others at least know what she's capable of and that's in front of them!!!
Well done you for staying calm. That was the biggie for you, it should get easier now, especially as they can see how professional you were during it all.
I'm proud of you chick.
Now pour yourself a drink and have a good relax.

Thanks Diz, I was really proud of myself. I very rarely lose my temper anyway but I mad an extra special effort to behave myself. I'm so glad it's over though, I feel so much better for it. Can now concentrate on getting myself back to feeling 100%0

Good afternoon all, well I've had a really busy week and I'm feeling absolutely shattered. Have done too much and well and truly paying the price for it today.
Money not too bad, e-bay ticking over nicely and I've sold my first ever item on playtrade
Not had any mystery shops for a while so not made anything extra on that front.
Still haven't finished writing my Christmas cards Diz but I have done really well on the presents front. Have got J's, a few odds and ends for the kids, half of J's mum & dad's present and my one nephew is done. Have got a few jobs to do this afternoon but am hoping to get some more cards done this evening and tomorrow. My aim is to have written all the cards before I go down J's house tomorrow.....0
