Thanks Diz, been feeling down last couple of days. J's having a real tough time in work and I've been worried about him. Not been sleeping either which doesn't help. Was in bed by 8.45 last night as I felt really tired. Did sleep quite a bit but have got that sleepy head feeling this morning.

Have logged onto my internet banking this morning and the insurance company have refunded my excess ????? I've got a feeling that J has phoned them u asked the to refunc my card so that he can pay it as we had a little heated discussion about it last week and he said he wanted to pay it for me. Bleeding men why wont they listen when we say we're fine!

ALso had a few sales on e-bay last couple of days so that seems to be ticking over nicely, of course I wish it were more but we mustn't grumble must we?

Have got a brochure for cottages in Ireland. Am going to try and broach the subject of a Mon-Fri break with J in September. I'm hoping my mum will have the children for me!!! The cottages are lovely, lots of greenery, open fires and wooden beams. His divorce should be finalised by the first week of Sepember and I'm hoping the property settlement will be done shortly after so I think he's going to need a break. Don't know whether he'll agree to it though. Everything is going well with us but I appreciate he's had a tough year and can't move forward until this is all over

Not had a bad day today. Went into work and the witch had hurt her knee so went home to rest it. Even though I was on my own doing 3 jobs I was less stressed than if she'd have been there. Also sold a book on Green Metropolis and sold apair of shoes on e-bay so not a bad day at all.

Have got a visitor coming up tonight so got some lasagne in the oven so that we can have a meal when he gets here. ANother late night for me.....

HI hun. Hope your night went well. It does sound like things are progressing well with you and J. I'm really pleased for you GR. Moneywise you must be so proud of your achievements, well done.
I think you're right about J and once he can draw a line under his past....well, it'll be full steam ahead for your future hun
I wonder if it's because winter is around the corner and we haven't had much Summer that's getting us down a bit. Can't believe how fast this year has gone. Don't think my challenge of getting rid of the overdraft by Christmas will be achieved. Ah well.

Thanks Diz, Had a lovely night last night and he ended up staying !) He's also invited me to stay at his house on Saturday night. I've decided that on Saturday night I'm going to bring up the subject of a short break away and hopefully he'll agree.

Am really tired again today and have got a tickly throat so I'm hoping it's not going to develop into anything major. Not sold very much today, just a knitting pattern so only made £1.60 which is slightly disappointing. I'm hoping that my numbers are going to come up tonight on the lottery. Imagie what it would be like not to have to worry about money at all!

No luck for me either on the lottery Diz, listed quite a bit on e-bay though so hopefully get some more things sold. Still feeling as if I've got no 'get up and go' though.

Good morning all, have got lots of watchers on some of my e-bay stuff and managed to sell a book this morning which the buyer is picking up on Wednesday. Have got a busy day today, haircut at 10 am then shopping then home to blitz the house before my night out with J. Am staying down his house tonight and then out somewhere tomorrow.....

Had a visit from my cousin and her letchy boyfriend last night and they really made me feel awful. They constantly put me down from the minute they walked through my door (well he did). No this is a man who can't read or write and has never worked since leaving school 18 years ago. I should sell my house, it's too big (even though every single room is full), he wouldn't have put shelves where I had put them, I should find myself a younger man (J is nearly 11 years older than me but doesn't look it), I should feel nervous living in such a lonely spot, etc etc etc. By the time they left I felt like I'd had my self-confidence ripped to shreds. Why are there so many people on this earth that put people down. Some of them obviously need to take a long hard look at themselves. Sorry I'm waffling now!

On a brighter note, I'm going to look forward to tonight and my day out tomorrow. Have also chosen a lovely little lodge in Cornwall with an outdoor hot tub for £275 for 5 days in September and tonight I'm going to bring the subject up with J about a few days away. I don't think for one minute he's going to agree but it's worth asking surely?

Have had a petty good morning. Had my hair cut (bit shorter than I was expecting) and was given the wrong change in McDonalds. I didn't realise until I got home but they gave me a £10 note instead of a £5

Have sold quite a few things on e-bay today and sold a book on Green Metropolis so have been packing some of those up and have one or two more items to pack which I'll do in a little while.

Done my shopping and only spent £45 which I was quite happy with. Going to do a few jobs now before I'm off out.

Ignore cousins boyfriend. Sounds like huge envy to me hun.
The cottage in Cornwall sounds divine. We love Cornwall. Sooo romantic too.

Oh Diz, I've had the mpst fantastic time and spent hardly any money. I cooked us a lovely meal last night then we watched 2 dvd's. Spent today just looking around the shops at the local designer village then dropped a birthday card off to one ofhis mates. I was a bit nervous about meeting his friend but his wife made me feel so welcome I took to her instantly.

Have suggested a few days away and he said he'd have a think about it which sounds good. At least it wasn't a definite no.

Have just got back home now and I'm all loved up
