I'm hoping that's what they'll do Wendy. Have never claimed off the insurance before despite being broken into twice. I feel as guilty as sin claiming yet it was a genuine accident and that's what I pay my insurance for. I'm hoping I'm going to hear from them soon, the stress is too much for me LOL.

Have had a good day. J stayed until about 1 and then home he went. Popped out this afternoon to get DD some new clothes. She is sooooo desperate and had lots for £40. I love the sales.....

Have sold 3 playstation games on amazon today and have got 29 items ending on e-bay tonight, lets hope something sells.

Friday Friday Friday!!!!! This week has absolutely flown and we're coming to the end of another month. It scares me because once the kids go back to school I start buying for Christmas (I have alreadyhad a few things already though) and it seems as if last christmas was only a few weeks ago.

OK. Going to pop into Poundstretchers on the way to work today and see what bargains are there, also got a postal order that I eed to cash and 3 Amazon parcels to post off. Have decided to go to Asda tonight to do some food shopping as there is absolutely nothing here to eat. Have got to be careful this coming month and I'm hoping that my pay arrears will be through with my wages. It doesn't amount to an awful lot but it will be a big help.

Not go much time to post in much details this morning so will update kater when I have more time. Hope everyone has an enjoyable day.

Have not had a good day today at all. Am still ultra-sensitive and have really over-analysed every single conversation I have had with everybody today and am feeling quite negative tonight. Feel a little bit 'put-on' in work today which wound me up and then over-spent in Asda tonight. Came home and parked my car outside my house only to find when I went out to put the car in the garage that 2 people had completely blocked me in. Whilst trying to get out of the space I reversed into the van behind me!!!! Luckily as I've got a 4x4 it was only my tyre on the tailgate that made contact with the van so no damage was done.

Managed to listen to my answerphone message ay 20:09 and it was from the insurance about my TV, they were asking me to phone them back but they closed at 8.00 so I'll have to do that tomorrow.

Have decided to sit down quietly and have a little drink to calm me down. I don't think the tears are far off.....

Have had a good sleep and things are looking up today. Have had a telephone calloff the insurance who have agreed to replace my TV and have also won £13 on a scratchcard. There's bound to be a third piece of good news - don't they always come in 3's.

Have been invited out for the day tomorrow with J so have got to get all my cleaning, washing and ironing done today. I hate doing it all in one day but as I've got something to look forward to tomorrow, I'm sure I'll manage it.

Going to have a good couple of hours cleaning now and then it's out into the garden for a bit of sunshine for me.

Have been up early and done some washing and some more ironig and had a clean around. Sold quite a bit on e-bay yesterday and even sold a book on Amazon that I hadn't finished reading. It was the Lance Armstrong book and it was such a heart rendering story. I've cried all the way through reading it! Managed to finish it last night and it's all packed up and ready to send off tomorrow.

Have got £56 in my purse and that has to last me until Wednesday. I'm sure it will but I don't know what the plans are today. Will we go out for lunch or will we go to M&S and pick up something nice for me to cook???? J not feeling to well last night, he's got an awful cold (much worse than anybody else could possibly have :) ) and he's feelng really sorry for himself. Hopefully he's feeling better this morning and I won;t hear him moaing about it all day!!!

I've got 2 outfits out and I can't decide whether to wear the summer dress or the 3/4 trousers with a strappy top. I'm 37 years of age for god's sake, deciding what to wear is for 17 year olds surely :)

Going to finish doing a few jobs around the house and hopefully catch you all later. Have a good day and enjoy the sunshine.
  • Ahhh but your in the swings on a newish relationship got to look perfect be worried when you dont care. Either sounds good but if you feel ok in it Id go for the dress.

Cant believe your challenge total this month broken it again! Hopefully you have a nice savings fund saved to cover those dreaded but essential spends. Can I ask how the ISA fund is doing?

    Have a great day

Hi Wendy. I opted for the short trousers and summer top. We went shopping (yes a man who enjoys the shops) he even paid for my facial wipes and leave in conditioner!!!! Had a lovely meal then went back to his house to watch a DVD. I've had the most wonderful day. I've known J for 14 years and we started to see each other about 4 years ago but drifted apart. He was always the great love of my life and I can't believe he's back in my life. He's such a gentleman but has a fab sense of humour. I'm really hoping against all hope that it's going to last this time.

The ISA is doing great, there's about £2400 in there. I daren't touch it though, that's whats scaring me. I want to try and have a nest egg. Hopefully I'll keep adding to it but it's not such an urgency now as there's a tidy little sum in it.

Off to bed now had a busy day and I'm shattered. Catch you all tomorrow x

Hi GR...you sound so much better today. And the sun shone for you. Absolutely in awe at how well you've done on the moneyfront. You've worked really hard at it and look how it's paid off. Anything you add now to it is icing on the proverbial cake now.
Really pleased about you and J. As each day goes by it sounds like things are becoming more serious and you seem so happy...:)
Have a great day at work and hope 'you know who' isn't in :D

Thanks Diz, I had a lovely day and yes I am happy. He really is one in a million and things do seem to be going well for us. He's still got a few hurdles to go et,hisproperty settlement is sometime in August and I know he's really worried about how much she's going to be entitled to. I can't quite believe that somebody whose only been in the country and married for 3 years is entitled to 50% of the house he's been in since 1993. I really hope that the judge can see how unfair this is and offer her very little. Then after the property settlement his decree absolutis out at the beginning of September. His birthday is also in August so I know that's going to be a difficult day for him also.

Well its the start of another week and we'll be into a new month by the end of the week. I just can't believe that soon we'll all be preparing for Christmas. Have just withdrawn £150 from my paypal account so that will almost pay for my service and MOT which is booked in for Friday. Have got 6 parcels to post off this morning after the weekend sales so things seem to have picked up there.

Off to dry my hair and get ready for work now. Will catch you all later. x

Good morning all. Not slept very well last night so really don't feel like work today. Could quite easily go back to bed!!!

Pay day tomorrow and I've got £8 in my purse to last me today. I'm sure I can manage on that :) Am really dreading August as it's going to be a tough month but hopefully if I'm carefuly I can get through it unscathed. First thing I need to do tomorrow is pay the Water Rates and Poll Tax then it's a matter of waiting until the 1st of August is over so I know exactly how much money I have left. Text ex OH yesterday to ask him for my CSA money which should have been paid on the 24th!!!!! STarting to get narked about it now as every single month I have to ask for it. Also transferred £150 from PayPal to hopefully go towards my car service on Friday.

Can feel myself panicking thinking about all that I've got to spend this month!
