Hi there Diz good to have you back. Have had another lovely day. Had an awful day on Monday but as the week has progressed my mood has improved. DD's birthday tomorrow then we're off shopping to Cardiff on Friday, Party on Saturday night (only for an hour though) and hopefully out with J on Sunday so I've got a busy few days. I can't say I'm looking forward to going back to work, but I'm trying hard not to think about it.
Hope your holidays have been relaxing and you've managed to get lots done. It's been awful not having you posting. I've really missed you. x0 -
Aw GR...what you like. Cyberspace or not I've really missed you and Wendy and not being able to add to your diaries. I think this rotten weather has a lot to do with how we feel. When Summer is around the corner you can think of lazy days in the sunshine...but we've had none, hardly. You and I like to sit in the garden reading but how many times have we been able to do that! Ah well, now I'm thinking about Christmas and getting little bits in here and there. I'm so pleased for you GR that alls going well with you and J. Don't worry about the future and get yourself into a tizzy. Enjoy the moment, as they say, tomorrow will take care of itself.
Have a great Thursday.

Thanks Diz. Once the school uniform is bought and the children go back to school I also start thinking about Christmas. I've had a few things already. Can't believe that the children are almost ready to go back to school and then we'll all be buying christmas cards. Where has this year gone?
My DD is 11 today and I can't believe my baby is that old. I feel really middle aged LOL. Have had another lie-in this morning, I'm turning into a really lazy beggar. Going to take my mum to pick up her footstool today. She's been waiting 3 months for it so I think she's quite excited about it! Apart from that I've got few plans (apart frm picking up a load of stuff that DD has just reserved online at Argos - she's spending her birthday money)
Money still looking pretty grim for me and I must remember to pay my poll tax today before I ave a letter from them. I really hate paying it and always leave it until the very last moment! Also got to pay the savings into the Post Office and post off a book I sold on Amazon last night. Hope I manage to remember to do it all. Have been really lazy this week and all my plans to give the house a good clean have been forgotten.....
Off now to catch up on some posts. Catch you later. x0 -
Hi ya
Hope you got all your tasks done. My DD1 turns 11 in Novemeber. I still cant believe how quickly she is growing up. Not thought too much about school uniform. Brought a few bits at the end of term including shoes. Just need some new t shirts through the school.
Feeling on edge at the mo just off to offload a bit on my diary.:j0 -
Just posted on your diary Wendy. Try and keep calm, you'll get more done.
I've not done very much at all today (not in the house anyway). Took mum to pick up stool, took uncle to buy new microwave and ended up having lunch in KFC with DD. House is a total mess as DD seems to be playing with absolutely every toy that she owns.
DIdn't even manage to get to the Post Office today so have got a massive list of things to do tomorrow when I go into Cardiff0 -
Have been to Cardiff and managed to change all the school uniform that didn't fit. That'll teach me to get the kids to try them on when I buy it. DD has spent the last of her birthday money and all I bought was a few odds and ends for J as it's his birthday on Monday. I've not spent a fortune on him but everything I have got is what he wants/needs. I know he's going to be cross that I've spend any money on him but I'll live with it.
Ex phoned this morning, can he have the kids on Monday instead of Sunday. To be honest it'll work out better for me so I've agreed. Absolutely hate speaking to him on the phone he's a total !!!!!.
Am sitting here and my house is a mess. I've got somebody calling round at 7 to pick up an e-bay sale and at the moment I'm too ashamed to open the door. Will have a blast for 30 minutes now and see how much I can get done.0 -

Hi GR...it's not fair is it how fast the time goes when we're off. Did you manage to book the short break with J?
You've done loads since you've been off. Looking at your to-do lists you certainly get through them.
I haven't really done anything. Been staying up till 4 and 5am most nights watching the olympics and spending the next day in a sleep haze.
Getting a bit fed-up with ebay and the watchers who don't buy! Gives me false hope
Hope your week-end is going well and your visit to J's mum.
Catch you soon take care

Hi Diz, have had an amazing weekedn. Very busy but enjoyable. Spent SUnday at J's mums, then Monday at J's (it was his birthday), then he decided last night to come home wih me rather than stay him stay at his house on his own. He's just left to go home for work, which means he's going to be very very late!!!
Note managed to book the short break yet, he's got his property settlement on the 2nd September so I think he's waiting to see how he gets off with that before committing himself to spending money. Hopefully he'll be OK and we can make plans after that. He certainly hasn't dismissed the idea, which is something I thought he would do.
I know what you mean about e-bay it's so bleeding annoying when you have watchers and then they don't buy.... Sold about 4 things over the weekend though, none of them making me big money but pennies make pounds!
Really don't want to go to work today. Am so tired and really not in the mood to socialise with people. Went to a house party on Saturday night at one of my friends from works house. Met up with a bloke there that was in school with me, as we were leaving he asked me out for a drink, I was mortified. My biggest problem is whatever is going through my mind is written all over my face and the instant he asked me out I had this absolutely horrendous look on my face that simply said 'you have got to be joking'. Felt really embarrassed about it and I know the girls are going to tease me about it today. I wish sometimes I could think before speaking or showing any emotion!
Was really p'd off last night, ex hubby had the children yesterday and wa supposed to leave my CSA money with my mum, guess what, he didn't!!!!! My mum was really annoyed at him and he's promised to pay it into the bank for me today. It really spoilt my weekend. God, I wish him some places, sometimes!
Right, off to get ready for work. Hopefully catch you later.0
