Had a pretty good day today considering. Managed to get hold of the washing machine repair man whose coming tomorrow to fix my machine :) managed to get the CSA of ex hubby :) and the witch was on annual leave so work was good as well :)

Telephoned my insurance tonight to try and get J added to my insurance policy as he's been driving my car but only covered 3rd party. My insurance company couldn;t add him on as apparently he's in a high risk job so had to cancel my insurance with HSBC and re-insure myself and J with another company. Not only is the policy £4 cheaper every month but I also had £45 cashback through Quidco so managed to make some money on it.

Have not updated my Olympic challenge total yet as I've still got lots of money outstanding so will have to update it towards the end of the week when I've got a better idea of how much money I've made.

Hi GR...wow lots of things happening with you hun. Sounds like it's been non-stop. Well done on the cashback from quidco. I never seem to get deals like that. Ebay has been slow and then these last couple of days sold 14 items!!! Every time I post and say it's slow, it picks up again!
It's hard getting back in the swing when you'r back at work. I'm not even thinking about it yet.
Wonder how Wendy is getting on? Hope the weather is being kind to them.
    Have a good day tomorrow.

I was just thinking about Wendy when I was clicking onto MSE. The weather hasn't been the best here and I was hoping it was good for her. If she's like me I don't care about the weather, the fact that your away from the normal day to day stuff is enough. The weather is a bonus!

Yes, lots happening here. It doesn't seem to stop. Had my pay today and have had a whopping £70 extra this month backpay. I've transferred it over to the Olympic account straight away so temptation doesn't sway me :)

Not looking forward to going into work today as the witch is back. Had a lovely day yesterday, even my boss was more relaxed so what does that say? Ex hubby did upset me yesterday, not only did he not give me my CSA but he had the cheek to text me to ask if I had a spare mobile phone as his was broken????? Was absolutely seething but decided to rise above it and just text him back 'Sorry, No'. As I've said before, he's on a different planet!

Off to get ready for work now Diz, hope you have a good day and maybe catch you later. Bye hun x

Have a good friday GR. Weekends just around the corner :D
I know what you mean about the weather. Rain or shine it's getting away from the mundane...I so want to go somewhere now it's too late!!
Had our doggie neutered today so she's not herself at all, been a strange day. She's asleep, well, resting, on our bed, bless her.
    Maybe catch you later.

Good morning Diz, hope the dog is better this morning. Well Camelot did not shine down on me last night so it's work for me today :(

Got to pop into town before work to pay a cheque into my account. God, it takes ages for cheques to clear still. You'd think that the clearing process would have speeded up over the years but it seems to be getting slower.

Not much to report this morning. Didn't sleep too good last night woke up about 5 am and felt really agitated, had the knots in my stomach but don't know why. Have got nothing that I'm worrying over at the moment. Feeling a bit tired now.

Had my washing machine repaired yesterday cost £40 so I was happy with that. Can't live without it and was worried that all my hard earned savings would have to go towards buying a new one.

Catch you later. Have a good day x

Not a bad day today. Received a cheque in the post for £19.84 refund from my old car insurance so that can be added to the Olympic account. Still don't know how much is in there as not all the money has cleared :(

Just placed an order online for Marks & Spencers for my uncle. Went through Quidco and have earned a bit of cashback so quite chuffed with that. Just need all the funds to clear so that I know how well I'm doing. E-bay a bit slow at the moment so not making an awful lot of money there but saying that the things I'm selling are only going for a few pounds. Not got anything big to sell at the moment.

Going to have a nice bath now and settle down to watch the TV.

Hi GR. Fingers crossed for you that ebay picks up. Every little bit helps. Pennies make pounds and all that. Think I may be in bed early tonight, not feeling well at all and we're out with our GD tomorrow. I can't wait to see your olympic challenge update. It always inspires me to stop being complacent.
Have a lovely saturday and maybe Lady Luck will smile on us with the lottery.

Good morning Diz, hope you managed to get an early night and you feeling better today. I was in bed early last night but have had a restless night sleep. Absolutely shattered this morning andfeeling very sensitive (tears not far away). Been on the phone to J this morning and he mentioned his soon to be ex wife (she's about 5ft 3 and 7 stone) and it's left me feeling low about myself. I'm a much nicer person than she is (well, I like to think I am) but there's no way I can compete with the fact she's a lot smaller than me. I'm not fat just could do with losing a stone (like most of us). Self-confidence at a bit of a low. Think it's all because of lack of sleep etc. The only positive thing for me is that I'm6 years younger than her :)

Not got very much planned for today other than work. Got a cheque to pay into the Halifax but as I also have to pay in some cash I'll leave that until tomorrow and do it all together. The witch is off work this afternoon so it'll be a good afternoon with no sarcastic comments or cutting remarks.

Sold one item on e-bay yesterday that's made me a massive £1.60!!!!! I'm starting to get disheartened at the moment with the lack of sales. I've run my amazon inventory right down as I'm hoping to go away for a few days this month and dont want to sell anything whilst I'm away. Think I'll have a massive drive in October and try to clear it all again.

Your August total is looking fab Diz, your doing so well. The last few months have seen you makng nearly £670 which is amazing. As for lady luck, we can keep our fingers crossed can't we.

Off to get ready for work now. Have a nice day with your GD and catch you later x

Not had a good day at all. Started the day in a bad mood then locked myself out of internet banking and the day has just deteriorated from there.

Have come home from work and the cat has had a wee somewhere and because my mother couldn't find where she's squirted the whole house with cheap perfume - great.....

Have taken all the cushion covers of the cushions on the settee and taken the rug from the living room out into the fresh air. Have got all the windows open and an hoping the fresh air will take away the smell of the perfume!

Have just done myself a lovely spaghetti bolognaise - food is the solution to all problems :)

Hi GR...hope you're feeling a little better. If Js ex was that great he'd still be with her. It's you he wants to be with hun so put all those negative feelings in a balloon and watch it float away...:)
As for Kitty, at least it's been a nice day and you could get your covers etc. outside.
OH and I had a ride into Southport with DS and GD. I can't believe it was that warm that I didn't even need a cardi on. Probably have a late Summer when school starts again!
Just checked lottery from Wednesday and won £10. Better than nothing.
Hope we both have a bigger win tomorrow.
    Catch you later,
