OK I'm back and hopefully it's for good. Have had a sick note off the doc so I'm off work for one whole month and I've gone back on the anti-d's. IT's not something I wanted to do but I feel I must oterwise I'm going to go mad. I started the tablets on Wednesday and they take approx one week to work. They've made me really drowsy and I've been sleeping an awful lot but I'm starting to feel more positive. I don't know whether it's the tablets or whether it's the thought that I don't have to do to work for a while!!!
It's saturday morning and I've got tons of stuff to do so I'm going to make a list in true KP fashion and tick off as I go along. SO here goes:
Wash dishe[STRIKE][/STRIKE]s
Wash clothes
[STRIKE]
Peg clothes out on clothesline
Clean kitchen
Clean bathroom
Get meat for lunch tomorrow
Post off 2 e-bay parcels
[/STRIKE]Clean dining room
Clean living room
Catch up on ironing
[STRIKE]
Pop to Asdas
[/STRIKE]
The list is quite large and as I'm staying down J's tonight I need to have a little sleep somewhere in between all that. At least the sun is shining and that always fills me with energy and optimism so here goes, catch you all later x
Have not done bad considering it's only one oclock and I didn;t get up until half nine! Off to put some washing in and then having some lunch before tackling the ironing.0 -
We are allostriches to some extent, that's why we are all on here, we've all buried our heads in the sand about money. I tend to bury my head in the sand regarding anything that I dont want to face.
I've had a really productive morning. I'm beginning to wonder whether my new anti d's are amphetamine basedI've even washed the kitchen and bathroom floor, and by washing I mean got down on my hands and knees !!!
Whats the name I want some!! Im on Citalopram The doctors shut this morning so I have run out till Monday. Great to hear you are doing well. I have brought some bodyshop bargains on ebay and done well at body shop in town. Just need to get off my bum and do some shopping and cleaning now.
:j0 -
I used to be on Citalopram KP but even at the highest dose I didn't feel like they helped me. I was like a zombie cnstantly. The new tablets are called Mirtazapine and even though the first few days I was completely shattered, when I am awake I feel fully awake. The Citalopram made me feel detached from life as though I was there but I wasn't IYSWIM.
THe only down side of these new tablets is that an increase in appetite is a common side-effect. So I am going to have to be very careful there.0 -

Hello There,
I was reading through your diary last night. You should be so proud of yourself, your doing brilliantly. I dont have any savings on my own, but, I do have joint savings with my DH.
I used to have savings, but, about 4 years ago, I gave them to my sister as a gift because she had money troubles, and ive never started to save on my own again since then. You have given me the inspiration to start to save. Im also, seriously considering ebaying and looking at amazon to sell things. last week, I looked through the kids toys, and put aside ones that were still in good working condition, and was going to give them down to the charity shop, but, Im seriously considering selling them, although, that money I would just put in the kids banks.
Im going to keep reading your diary, so I hope you dont mind.
Jackie
P.s With regards to the witch in your work, I used to have one of those, infact, if you werent living in Wales, I would say she must be the same girl I used to work beside, surely there cant be 2 of them in the world lol.0 -
Hello GR :hello: Well I have to say I'm pleased that you're taking some time from work. You really need that and I think it'll do you the world of good. As for the anti-ds at least you know that when you're ready to stop them you can do.
See what an inspiration you are to people...look how you're motivating jackie_w. Hello jackie by the way
Sorry I've not been on here for a few days but my diary says why.
Hopefully we're raring to go again.
Lovely to see you back hun. Missed you lots like jelly tots.

Thanks Jackie. I used to be such a spender but now I've got to the stage that I think before I spend. I've had a really good weekend on e-bay making about £30 profit. I've also got bids on another £55 worth so am set to make a bit more this week. I used to give everything away but now I'm ruthless and give away nothing.
With regards to work, I'm feeling a bit better this week but have no intetion of going back yet.
I hope you will decide to save, once the money starts to build up you start to get more motivated. Good luck GR0 -

Hi Diz, good to hear from you. Have had a good weekend, went down J's on Saturday and watched DVD had nice meal and then went to his mums for lunch yesterday. Took the dogs out for a walk, it was a bit chilly in the shade but I enjoyed it all the same. Didn't get home until 11 last night so was absolutely shattered. I put the kids off to school this morning and went back to bed for a little hour
E-Bay appears to have picked up for me over the weekend and I've got 4 parcels to post off today and some bids on some other items that are ending in the week. AM trying to get some money together for a few days away. He still hasn;t said no and he's mentioned it a few times over the last week or so. So hopefully it'll be on the cards soon. I desperately need to get away and if I can go whilst I'm on the sick I get to save my annual leave as well
Just popping over to your diary now to catch up on all the goings on in the Dizzy household. GR x0 -
Hi GR...I bet you really enjoyed that extra time in bed. Naughty but nice and why not...I would
I so hope you get away. I've missed my holiday this year and we all need a break from everything don't we, to recharge the batteries. Sounds positive if J has mentioned it.
Well done on the ebay sales. I get withdrawal symptoms if I don't sell anything for a day. I'm not going to list anything else for a while. I've got 57 things on so I'm going to dwindle that down, maybe lower prices if they're not going. Just want to get rid of them now.
Hope you're having a relaxing day.

I know what you mean about e-bay. I've currently got about 50 items listed and really want to get rid of them all.
As for the break I mentioned it last weekend and he said he wanted to go but didn't want to make any promises to me and them break them. He's got lots of paperwork to do in work and he couldn't go away until that's all done. I was speaking to him this morning and he said he really needs to get his paperwork up to date and book some leave so it sounds promising don't it?
I am so desperate for a break. I had a week off in August but the weather was so bad I feel as if I've been done out of time off.
It's going to be a MSE break though as neither of us want to spend an extortionate amount of money. I was looking at a log cabin in Cornwall, it even had its own outdoor hot tub. It costs about £250 for a Mon - Fri break. I've been to Cornwall before so know what sort of places to visitand I'm quite happy to cook meals each day rather than eat out. Oh God I'm desperately in need of this!!!!!
Have not updated my signature for a while but I've gor some odds and ends coming in over the next week or so, so I'll probably wait until the end of the month before updating the sig again.0
