    I have just cancelled my switch to the 100% Green 12 month Fixed dual fuel tariff due to an unsatisfactory response to the quoted electricity tariff rate I signed up for direct from PP's website and what the contract then stated.  When I question this via the complaint link via PC (the bot thing was a nightmare) I received an email stating that the difference was due to VAT.  I replied stating that I have screenshots of every step of the signup where the rate was stated showing it said 'all prices include VAT.  I also have an email confirming the quoted rate and invluded VAT.

    I checked the website today and found it is now giving the higher rate but I have not received any further response so I cancelled the switch. I only hope it processes quickly and without issue so I can move on to finding a new supplier before rates change again.

    I have recenty signed up for this energy supplier, but I'm scared to read other reviews!  Hoping that my bills can be much lower, really want someone to come to my flat and sort out my ridiculous bills by looking at a boiler and all the switches.

    Hi again just to clarify, once I get the quote do I then go through with the switch on your website and will I definitely get the switching incentive if I do that .

    Hi @zippygeorgeandben, happy to welcome you to Pure Planet! We'll send you monthly statements by email, and you can view your meter reading history in your app or web account, to help you keep track of your usage.  :)
    If you'd like your boiler checked you can find a gas safe engineer to visit the property and carry this out for you.

    To confirm, yes you can get the quote through the website and complete the switch. As noted in the email you received you'll definitely receive your switching incentive  :)

    MSE quoted me £996 per year 12 month fixed
    Be aware
    I signed up and was accepted but 12 month total is £1,146.20
    6 months at £114.72 and
    6 month at £76.48
    It has not changed due to new meter readings
    Are MSE giving false  quotes?

    Your quote with MSE would include any cashback offers from them and switching incentives (e.g. bill credits) - your quote with Pure Planet would exclude that.  :)
    If you have any more questions about your Direct Debit and quote you could get in touch with our Member Services team, they'd be happy to check it out for you!

    Welcome to the forum.
    Were the kWh rates and standing charges in the contract different to what you were quoted?
