Or just take as much money out as they can to cover their losses... and let PP go bust.
Have to admit, they weren't one on my list to go as i would had thought BP would keep going in hard on it to push their greenwashing agenda.

Seems strange that we had a meter reader visit a couple of weeks ago for the first time but his Gas reading was ignored and his electric reading accepted. Prior to this I received an enormous increase on my fuel bill with an extra charge added on until April next year. PP have also contacted us to say their smart meter installer will be making contact shortly to arrange the installation of smart meters. Looks like PP are trying to grab as much cash as possible before going bust.0

Feel very glad I decided to take the £30 exit fee and switch to a decent 2 year fix from a big supplier only a couple pence above the cap a couple weeks ago. My supply officially switches over tomorrow and I feel I've dodged a bullet lol1

I am betting on the bulb to be the next one.0

Hmmm... well this doesn't sound too encouraging. Having previously read the hedging comment, and being aware of the BP backing, I had hoped PP had some chance of surviving but this news suggests I'll be joining the club of those being swapped to a SOLR tariff at the price cap :-(.0
