I joined Pure Planet in September and I've had no problems at all so far, although it was a bit confusing at first as there was an technical issue with the app. All worked fine once that was resolved though. One thing I'm a bit confused about - I've only been asked for meter readings once, when I first switched. Should I be sending these regularly? (Hope it's ok to ask that in this thread, as not technically a review!)
Hi mangog
Great to hear things are running smoothly now :j
We ask for meter readings once a month. You'll get an email to remind you, and one of the moons in your Pure Planet app changes to 'Send a meter reading'.
Without regular meter readings we'll use estimates.
Hope that helps!

Anyone thinking of switching to Pure Planet please be aware that this is an app only company. If you have an issue you can only communicate through the app and it can take a day or two to get a response. They have no phone number to be able to speak direct.
My switch completed in 17 days. I had expected it to be 4-6 weeks. I was given 1 day's notice that the Direct Debit would be taken from my account the week before Christmas, resulting in an overlap between this payment and my previous supplier. I tried to ask for this to be delayed to the 1st of the month. The response took too long and advised that it would take 10 days to change the date of the direct debit. I had meantime tried to cancel the DD but it went through anyway.
I was contacted by phone by them 2 days ago regarding the cancelled DD. I asked for it to be changed to 1st of the month. I was advised that it would still have to come off on the 21st Jan, then again on 1st Feb. I told them that this was not acceptable and was advised that a senior manager would call back. I am still waiting. I will be switching again as soon as I can, as I feel that good customer service is important and this company does not provide this, in my experience.
Hi Fizz62

My Son signed up to Pure Planet in October 18 but unfortunately never got to move into his property as he was posted abroad, he's letting the property. But he cant transfer the account to the tenat's. He would like to submit their names and the final readings when he left but cant find where to do this? Any help you can provide.0

Your son needs to go to Wattbot via Help in the app and type the words ‘Message the team’.
It's not a live chat, but someone should get back to him within one working day. Then they'll then ask for the details:0 -
Hi Marc,
I received a notification from M Lewis energy club. It stated I could save money by switching.
Currently my supplier is Out Fox The Market Zapp tariff. I use about £850.00 to £900.00 energy per annum.
Pure planet showed I would save £150.00 per annum which I thought was amazing! So I hit the button to change.
Then when I scrolled further down afterwards, Pure Planet showed again with a saving of only £45.00.
Hence when your email came to start my change I did nothing about it.
Then I had a phone call from yourselves and I said I had changed my mind.
The chap said he would cancel me off and this should show on energy club. It still does not, still shows me as in the process of a switch.
If I do save money I will change, however how much I will save is what I really would like to know first. Also how to contact yourselves or someone to contact me as if the switch goes ahead I would want to do it through M Lewis site to get the Cashback.
Do hope you can please help me.
I am a not a spring chicken by any means, however I should manage the App. Is it free?0 -

As I understand you, you have cancelled your switch application directly with the supplier. If you’ve cancelled your switch and it’s still showing as ‘in progress’ on your Cheap Energy Club account, it’s likely the supplier hasn’t let us know about the cancellation. You can contact us directly by emailing energyclub@moneysavingexpert.com with your account details, and we’ll remove the switch. You’ll then be able to compare and switch again.
Once your account is released, I suggest you update your details within it as described in your previous thread, then you should have all the calculations correctly shown for your actual position0 -
Switch from Spark to Pure Planet was fairly easy, but switching out of Pure Planet seems will create me problems.
The switch is to be completed tomorrow, but checked today and Pure Planet has removed my account so I can no longer see my credit or submit the last meter readings!0 -

If I were you I'd keep the Pure Planet app installed because you'll still be able to "message the team" via Wattbot if you need to get in touch,0 -
I switched to Pure Planet in September, probably the easiest switch I've ever made & I like the app. I also like the Amazon referral vouchers - I recommended PP to 4 people and made £100 to spend on my son's Xmas presents. I've just done a comparison & it's still the cheapest option for me and 100% renewable so I am very happy. I think it makes sense to pay more in the winter months and less in summer as you don't build up a big credit which you then have to wait ages to claw back if you switch in the future.0

They have been great for me - I suggest you find someone's referral link on Trustpilot and then you'll benefit from the £25 amazon voucher offer.0
