Hi Marc,
Do you ever plan to do a fixed term tariff?:)
Hi Leear
It's not in our plans.
We've one simple tariff for all Members.
It's a variable tariff, made up of a Membership fee and our zero markup Members' rates.
The Members' rates are linked to wholesale energy prices - you pay what we pay for the energy you use.
If the rates go up, we'll give you at least 14 days notice. If they go down, we'll pass the saving on immediately.
We have no fixed contracts, and no exit fees.:j

I've switched to Pure Planet recently (07/10)
But the problem is I've just received a letter reminding me that I'm entitled to the £140 Warm Home Discount and that Pure Planet does not take part in this scheme.
What are my opions now?0 -
Hi Mark @planet
Im considering switching to pure planet. 100% renewable is a big draw. Im currently with Igloo. Can anyone tell me if they are installing the 2nd generation smart meters (SMETS2) yet?
Thankss0 -

Hi Solid_Bruce
We are currently unable to offer the Warm Home Discount. It's still quite early days for us.
As we grow, we hope to introduce the Warm Home Discount and other similar schemes that help members manage their accounts.

Hi davejphartley
Great to hear that you're thinking about switching to Pure Planet :T
I don't normally link out from here, but this post in the Pure Planet Community explains all this.
Hope it helps

Hi GAP66
Great news that you're thinking of switching :j
Right now if you need to change the account name, you message our Member services team via the app, and they'll change it for you. Takes about two days.
In the future Members will be able to change this themselves in the app. Just like Members can already change their Direct Debit account details and payment dates in the app.
Hope that helps!

I got a quote and wanted to switch to Pure Planet so clicked where indicated. I successfully downloaded the app to my smart phone but I then went round and round in circles attempting to log in but only succeeded in generating the same email back 6 times. At one stage I was prompted to advise whether I use gmail or Samsung mail. These were the only options but neither apply to me. Strange as they kept sending the same email to my correct email address as originally entered at the quote stage of the process. Now at a loss as to how to proceed and guess I'll have to switch to another provider. Shame as I liked the concept and the price offered by Pure Planet.0

I just looked on the Money Saving Expert website and you can filter to include the Warm Home Discount and ironically British Gas has a one year fixed tariff called Energy Plus Boiler Cover Oct 2019, you could switch to and be better off as Pure Planet has no exit charges0 -

Hi Crosstreemike
This sounds like a login loop. Each time you try to login and get the security check by email, the previous email's security 'token' is invalid.
Here's what to do: Clear all emails from us. Go to app. Tap on login. Do not follow a link to to your email but instead tap on your phone's home button. Open email app. Pick newest email from us. Should work fine.
