Got a quote online from the website but it wouldn't send a copy to my email address.
I declined to put my mobile number in so that's probably why it wouldn't work.
Why would you need my mobile number at this stage?0 -

We ask for monthly meter readings. But if you're away, then every two months is OK. As long as they're regular.
We'll be offering 2nd generation smart meters in 2019, which will obviously get around the issue of being away.

We ask for mobile numbers during the sign-up because we're an app-only supplier. So it's really important that we can contact Members through a smartphone.

We're app-based only. And we currently support Apple's App Store and Google Play, not Windows Phone.
The reason for that is because the number of Windows phone users in the UK is so small it just isn't a good move for us to invest in it, right now.
Of course we're following trends like all app developers, so you never know.
We realise that this isn't for everyone. If you change to an Apple or Android smartphone in future, we’d love to help you switch.
Please don't give up on switching to renewable energy. Take a look at the other options available in the market today.

Spent a week trying to join PurePlanet - I have now given up. Everything is done via computer or app and it never worked for me. I kept pressing "next" and waited for an email with another link but it never arrived. No phone number to call for help. You can only post on an inane community forum where you have to wait around on the off-chance someone posts a reply and even then, the replies are just generic advice - no-one can actually do anything to help you. This is just to join up. Imagine the horror when something goes wrong - just look at the community forum and you will see everyone shrieking about problems. I have now joined Octopus - took 1 minute to join, no need to download an app and brilliant pricing. PurePlanet is PurePoo!!!0

@ Pure Planet - Just wanted to add to the chorus that I would want to pay a fixed sum every month. Monthly outgoings is something I want tight control over and not knowing what will come out every month is just not an option for me. When reviewing switching to Pure Planet the only thing currently stopping me is the inability to do this. I am quite happy overpaying and building up a credit during summer and my current supplier OVO seems pretty happy about it as well.
App only doesn't bother me, neither does the limited customer service - even the lack of app functionality doesn't put me off but the inability to control my own finances very much does.
I would really suggest re-evaluating your position on this or finding a way to allow customers to do this - even though you are currently offering a rate that would save me over £100 a year I will be staying with my current supplier purely for this reason.0 -
