One moan from me, my bookmarks all had separate folders such as shopping etc. Now I have one long list of all bookmarks. Will have nose and see about getting the folders back.:p0 -
Firefox fell off my Christmas card list when they announced they were linking with a George Soros owned organisation to 'fact check' (ie censor) news. It's bad enough having Google pre-digest the news, so I've switched to Brave instead. It's still at developer stage and is not without its faults but it is fast and pretty good. It doesn't decide for me what I read, either.0

Rolled mine back to 55. Bookmarks toolbar wont move down to where i like it.
I could get the tabs to move down, but the bookmarks toolbar still stuck up the top. Silly layout.
I want my tabs to be right above the page with the bookmarks above that and then the URL bar above that, finally the file/edit menu. Yes im probably a rare one that still likes the file/edit menu.
Also why have they made the icons black and white? Save memory?
The text on my bookmark menu is smaller than v55 yet everything is spaced out so it no longer fitted across the screen.
Stupid changes for changes sake again. Why do developers do this???Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -

Under customise you can alter 'density' to 'compact' which fits more bookmarks across the screen0 -
Two useful add-ons which have disappeared is Property Bee which added an asking price history to rightmove adverts and Cookie Delete which deleted all cookies on exit other than a white-list – I could never get the standard options to do that.
Has anyone found a suitable replacement for those add-ons?0 -
The option not to update would have been nice. . . Typical of them to force an update on you rather than asking.
My session manager stopped working, so I thought I'd lost all my work from yesterday. But I found a new one that can import from the old one.
The tabs are a complete mess now they're one long line at the top. I use 3 lines for work (as I need a tons of pages open to get info from) and I can't find a way to get back to that.
80% of the addon's I use now aren't compatible now! Spent years getting it the way I wanted it...0 -

You do get the option not to update, nothing is forced on you. Check out the settings.....:cool:Drinking Rum before 10am makes you

Thanks for that. I have checked the option not to update now.
But not a lot of use knowing that AFTER the damn things messed all my settings. You would have thought that before releasing a major update that invalidates 80% of addon's they would have had the common sense to have FF give an alert?
Just noticed that the bottom info bar has gone too along with Fox clocks not being compatible now. Just gets worse and worse. . .0 -
I've been using Firefox for years now (including the latest nightly which is at v58) but I fancied a change so just started using Opera these last couple of weeks or so ... quite liking it too!
Especially useful is the built-in free VPN ... if you like that sort of thing!0
