I am so sorry. I will do palliative pain-relief vibes for Devil Cat. It's horrid when their time comes, I know. (((HUG)))

Thank you, Lamewolf. It's the only thing anyone can do for him now, so it's much appreciated.

Sorry you had a rubbish day, Valli. *Healing vibes* for your bruised bits.

I cleared out two kitchen drawers last night, so that's progress. Today has been a tad busy with one thing and another, but I did a load of washing and pegged it out and the shopping.

I also discovered hitherto unknown abilities. Turns out I don't mind speaking in public after all as long as I'm passionate enough about a subject - and got wonderful feedback from three people I really admire. I think two cups of full strength coffee helped by boosting my normally absent boldness-in-a-public-event mindset. And I gave a neighbour who's struggling a bunch of flowers so I'm feeling quite chuffed with self which is a nice feeling.

Will turn out another drawer when I'm doing the washing up later. I'm struggling this week to fit everything in, which means next week is starting to look horrendous too.
    Better is good enough.

Hullo girls - sitting down with a glass of Pimms and pineapple (don't judge....can't find the ginger ale lol) Thinking of you ATB as I raise my glass ;)

Mahoosive flinging session in my step-daughter's room today - two bin bags in the skip and many treasures rediscovered.

DH away on business, so I have possession of the TV 'troller....yippee!!! Naff all on, predictably.

Brain has read all but retained little - sending a gentle hug to HoneyBear for DevilCat. :( Lottery winning vibes to Yorkie and juvenile-coping support for JoJo.

Tiny has gone to bed wearing his swimming costume as he is Godzilla this evening, natch...and Small has announced he is auditioning for the part of Herod in the nativity play this year. Apparently bad guys get the best lines :rotfl:

    And relax.
  • Dinner eaten, wine drunk, biscuits scoffed, DW on and bacon out to defrost for morning. We started to watch a Christmas film too :)

Well done to everyone for your decluttering efforts esp you Piggers xx

    Must try harder tomorrow :rotfl:x

Ouch Valli - bet that hurt. Healing vibes a-plenty coming your way, and I hope you get your hot water on Friday as promised.

Dizzy, your boys make me laugh :rotfl::rotfl:

Sounds like a typical day in the little shop of horrors, [STRIKE]Audrey[/STRIKE] Jojo.

Honey Bear, I'm sorry to hear about Devil Cat. (((Hugs))) to him, and to you and your OH. [NB: For the benefit of other Flyladies, I have met him!]

Me too. I thought I had wrapped up really well when I took Rosie out this morning, but I came home shivering and with aching eyes and disturbed vision. It quickly became obvious that it would develop into a full-blown migraine if I didn't do something about it quickly, and that meant curling up under a blanket and sleeping for 2 hours. Result: grumbling migraine subsided a bit, though I'm not planning on testing it by staying up late this evening, and of course I haven't done half the things I wanted to achieve today.

Tomorrow morning I have to drive to cathedral city for a meeting, so DH will have to start his day by taking Rosie for her post-breakfast walk.

Honey Bear sorry to hear about Devil Cat, hope your remaining time together is as peaceful as possible. Hugs to you both from me, too. And DD.

Need NOT to linger at work tonight as space must be cleared.

    Have a good day all.

    Good morning
Yesterday disappeared so I've just tried to catch up on the thread. Sorry if I've forgotten anyone so...Pigpen, I am in awe with the flinging. Hope DS is ok, and other DS had a good day at the job. YL, Valli, HB big ((hugs)). Dizzy - and just why wouldn't you want to go to bed to be Godzilla??!

I did our bedroom yesterday, more by fluke than anything. I did actually also get rid of 2 bags of stuff from the spare room - pathetic I know as we have so much hoarded around the house, but it's a start. My November challenge is to try to clear the wardrobe in the spare room where I dump stuff that may or may not go to the cs. One bag duly dropped at the chazzer and one bag of girls' clothes donated to friend's granddaughter.

DH has gone off to arrange FiL's funeral and probably to bring some more treasures back to our house. DD has slammed out of the house to get the bus - result! Oh and today is apparently my birthday so I have treated myself to some syrup on my porridge. Just because I really know how to live. I might even clean the toilets before I go to work. :p

    Have a good day everyone.

Happy birthday Fayolle! Enjoy your syrup :D

Every day I think DS is making progress, but then within an hour of waking up in the morning he's grumpy and tired. When, oh when, will I leave this d*mn house?! I wouldn't mind if it meant I was getting stuff done but I'm not really.

I'm keeping up with flying a bit better than last week, but I'm not where I'd like to be considering I'm in the house 24/7 at the moment.

Thrilling Thursday - Master Bedroom & Landing
    Level One...
    [STRIKE]Check fire alarms are working[/STRIKE]

    Level Two...

    [STRIKE]•Clean windows in these rooms[/STRIKE]
•Check house for places where draughts are getting in.. doors, windows etc and see if there are ways to stop it! I am trying to work out the weird bolts above the door to see what kind of rail I need for a curtain
