Polly-Gees for absence - we actually went out Monday and yesterday; Monday we visited Bletchley Park, and yest went to cinema for new Thor film. So was too cream crackered to log onto t'internet.
(((HUGS))) for Katie and Fayolle and hope the Pauper lad is getting over his croup (I know nothing about croup, but it sounds bad).Honey_Bear wrote: »OH and I took Devil Cat to the vet this morning. He's come home with us, but she's not hopeful we'll still have him at Christmas. OH adores him, so things are a bit sad here.
Mr LW called the medical centre; they have told him there'll be an appt in the post for later this month, either 21st or 23rd. Bit confused, as 21st is a Tuesday, and he says the lady said 21st, but earlier he was told clinics are on Thursdays, so he may have misheard. No matter, we'll see what the letter says. At least it's not a 6-month wait.
I am still getting phantosmia, and now getting auditory hallucinations as well; all probably stress related.
Flying..... yes, well, let's not go there, hey?
We will be decluttering the unused hedge-trimmer that I didn't even know we had (it's in the loft) - next door will have it after their winter break. It's sat there for over 15 years unused, so a few more months is no problem, I'll just be glad to see it go somewhere it'll be of use.
I have my 70th Canine guest arriving tomorrow!
Talking of Bletchley Park - they have a reduced admission offer for anyone in the MK postal area as part of the MK50 celebrations - details here (sorry, I'm rubbish at linkies)

Why do I have so much crap?
Just had a little break, walked the dog and made another brew. Keep thinking that instead of doing bookkeeping for DH I could be doing bookkeeping for job no. 2 and getting paid for it but hey ho.
Bill for boiler has arrived £193.75. Oh joy.
And a little Christmas present has also arrived for DS that he is going to love, it is making me smile just thinking about it.
Oh and LW glad you dont have too long to wait for the next appt.
Right, this bloomin tax return wont do itself.0 -

Just back in, I'm deferring the list today as the boys are big enough to do their own for this week and clothes I ironing for eldest daughter are still in a pile on the landing being stepped over when in goes in and out of his room, ds2 is in the process of decluttering as he want his painting so I'm leaving them to it. I have Windows to clean and my own clothes to put t away plus some laundry to throw in the wash so I won't die of boredom just yet.
Hugs and supporting vibes where neededSPC~12 ot 124

Thanks to rubbish trains and their power supplies, acquired a guitarist overnight. Finally left the two of them to continue talking utter drivel to one another at 2.30am, only for them to decide that was the perfect time to start playing music too loudly for the hour.
Got up normal time whilst they slumbered and got myself suitably vampired at the hospital. It's so different going to this one compared to the local ones. They don't loose your notes, it's clean - very, very clean - there are no unwashed maniacs screaming abuse at staff, you get seen between ten minutes before or 30 minutes after your booked appointment time (yep, I was having the tests done before I was supposed to be there), they instantly booked me the next appointment without any issue finding space and made sure my medication record book was fully completed with all previous test results.
Back to work in the afternoon and, whilst it wasn't a hugely productive day, as I really don't feel that bright and shiny, I did at least get some things done. And bringing in strawberry macaron tarts as I had to walk past middleclass supermarket heaven from the station, the tarts all looking pretty and pink and dusted with icing sugar, made me very popular with the 3 other people in the faculty.
Came home and Himself hasn't been doing much as he and the Guitarist just sat around gossiping until this afternoon when G remembered he has a husband and cat to go home to. He's making vague promises of making pizza, but that was before he wandered upstairs.
This is me right now. And Himself in beige.I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0 -
day started badly when I tripped and dropped like a felled pine onto my right buttock.. As yet, AFAIK, i am unbruised...but achey. Oh I have a bruised finger...
Then it just got worse.
In other news my new boiler is due to be fitted ON FRIDAY. I am more than ready...it is too cold to fly in any room...Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

4th mouse decluttered.. Mama Mouse failed miserably when teaching this batch... stupid critters.. twas just a furry noggin this time.. much better than the 2 half dead beasties we had yesterday.. though I do prefer a tail to pick dead one up by.. had to use my dustpan and brush for a severed head.
Twinkle being fed supper.. and wearing extra layers.. the little minx WILL sleep!!
I am shattered but the girls are very happy with their tidier room..
DS2 survived his day at the shop.. he has to do 20 hours a week so is in tomorrow afternoon. DS3 is in bed again.. I am concerned about his MH again.. he is showing no enthusiasm about college or anything and is sleeping constantly again.. yet another drs trip no doubt.. they were supposed to be weaning him off the ADs but it may be the dose is getting upped
5 binbags collected for refugee place so I am 10 binbags down today with 2 more to leave to charity shop. I can't remember how many I said I was aiming for..ah.. 20... I may have to adjust that to 30 so it is the equivalent of 1 bag a day.. I will battle on with the next 5 first.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0
