  • The only Flying I have achieved is laundry, lots of it.

When I was younger I used to get ezcema flare ups all over. I still regularly get them on my body, but haven't had one on my face for years until this morning. All round my lips is so sore, reminds me of when I used to be teased at school about it!

Lots of cream needed and a few make-up free days I think. I would go to bed now if I could, worn out.

    Have lovely evenings all xx

  • Hi all, just checking in quickly.

Back to the paid stuff after a couple of days holiday. So was in at paid stuff no 1 early so that I could leave early and see MIL for lunch as it was her birthday. Then bank, post office and pet shop (which was closed). Then home to do more paid stuff. Need to try and get another hour done but at gym class at 7.15pm.

No flying done other than 3 t-shirts and a shirt ironed very early this morning! In fact I havent been further than the kitchen since 8am this morning - anything could be lurking through there.

    More work to do ..

Twinkle just started walking.. she has been doing steps but has spent this evening running about on her skinny legs shouting 'Stinky' and 'Doggy' .. todays favourite words.. noone is stinky and we don't have a dog so clueless as to why she knows these words.

OH messed up and realised at 2:35 he started work at 3pm rather than 4 as he thought.. cue big rush out of the door!

My bed is buried in the boxes of presents he didn't get put away.. and I am rather tempted to bring some down and wrap them tonight while he is out .. ooh.. need to check something.. ok, done..

I have a small but expensive list of items I want to get for these so I may wait and see what Amazon put in their black friday deals and order elsewhere after that... ok, my list got much longer.. and my kidney got put on ebay lol.

Email sent to The Works as they appear to have neglected to send nearly half of my order including lots of box sets of books which are not going to make a small package! We shall see what they say!

Jojo/Other musical instrumentally types.. I am getting DD3 a full size guitar for christmas.. she has a 3/4 one at the moment.. She has a 'classical' one.. is it going to be any different getting her an acoustic one, they all look the same... and hard case or soft? She does take it to her friends and to the park and stuff so it isn't just hung on the wall. Guitars often feature in black Friday deals so I'm holding off at the moment. I can almost play a kazoo!!

  • Relatively sane day today. Not quite sure why, but it seems that kids are slightly more likely to listen to you asking them to remove themselves from the premises whilst you are carrying a bag full of very large screwdrivers & a hammer whilst in your hands, you hold a large Stanley Blade, industrial strength wirecutters and a solid iron computer cage. Especially when you haven't had time to stop and drink ANY COFFEE AT ALL FOR THE ENTIRE DAY.

Still have a million and one things to do, plus about twenty other urgent things cropped up during the day, but oh, the bliss of there being no lessons in the block from 1.50pm. I could actually get stuff done with nobody milling around, charging round a corner en masse, being a wally, making a noise, asking stupid questions or in any other way irritating, distracting or confusing me.

Bumped into Himself on the way out as I was nearly home. Sent him on his way with an order for Gin.

He didn't get the job after all, which isn't surprising, as my internet [strike]stalking[/strike] research had revealed a bunch of overprivileged idiots with no commercial awareness. I expect they've hired somebody who went to the right private school and talks a good game with all the buzzwords that mean absolutely nothing but cost a fortune. He is, however, strictly banned from getting emo (and drunk) following this news today, as he ripped my head off for no apparent reason last night, storming off and locking himself in the bathroom. My response was to put my earphones in, switch on Radio 4 and go to sleep almost instantly, as the cats spotted a window of opportunity to sneak into the bedroom and snuggle up - I therefore went to sleep with an impenetrable :rotfl: barrier of fluffy purring between me and his side of the bed. Didn't feel any need to speak to him this morning as I got ready for work, either (wasn't ignoring him, but I just CBA to deal with him if it was going to be anything like last night) -
he apologised five minutes before I left.

Hungry again now. Not eaten all day and really wish he would just go to the damn chip shop.

The remains of Sunday dinner appear to have moved from the top of the hob to the countertop. I wonder if this means they are going to be binned this week?

I did spot something online from a friend which suggests that Himself's applied for a job that'll take him away travelling for over a month until the day before Christmas. Would have preferred to hear about it from him, but that could potentially give me a clean house, food I like, money and somebody quite pleased to see me at the end of it (he doesn't even like being away for more than a couple of nights at a time). I think this is quite a good idea - I hardly ever get the house to myself. If it happens, I'll be flying by night :D
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.

Pigpen ds has a acoustic it was not cheap it's a special carbon fibre thing that has a hard case, he recommends hard cases for ones that get used and go out and about as necks on them can get broken in soft cases. His first one was an Aldi special offer

Not quite sure what has happened to this week with flying... All I have managed to do is clear my kitchen of water after the immersion tank blew up...and the water leaked through the suspended ceiling in the kitchen. Anyway yesterday the new tank was put in, and now my house is like a bombsite...lol

Am going to try and do some flying tomorrow, as I need to hoover all through the house after the workmen have left all the crud... I was a bad person today as I have literally left it as I couldn't be mithired to get the hoover out after therapy. :D
