Well I've been up a whole hour..

2x WM
1x TD
Dry washing folded and wet stuff put up to dry.
I remembered to send Squeak her tracksuit for rugby after school. I need to hoof DS2 out of bed at 10ish.
I am really tired after yesterdays flinging.. and today I have more to do!!
OH has cat turds to clear.. Hazel has been turding under the kitchen units!! Goodness knows how!.. He has a fish tank to clean out because it is revolting.. and he has the back room to measaure up so we can get it floored and decorated.. hopefully before Christmas but I am not sure we will have the finances but we can try!!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Flyladies never, ever fail, Donna. We may struggle some weeks but we're doing our best and that's more than good enough. Take it gently, don't beat yourself up and have a (((hug))).
Happy birthday Fayolle! :bdaycake: I hope your day includes more than just an extra dollop of syrup!
Thank you so much for your kind thoughts for Devil Cat and OH - he likes hugs so I'll definitely pass that one on! Devil Cat is happy this morning, tail up, eating like a greedy pig and has rediscovered one of his favourite beds, so today's a great day for us. We're making the most of it.
I have to go and do the voluntary thing for a few hours. Rain is forecast. *bleargh*Better is good enough.0 -

Thank you Honey Bear
daughter has hoovered for me, i've managed 1/2 kitchen just having a rest will go and have another bash in a minute - I just set 10 min timer on phone.
I have also managed a couple of things from my frogging list ....
*treated myself to a Karcher to make window cleaning easy (got a refurbed one from Karcher Outlet for £20)
*contacted Vax and got a replacement Steam Mop .... go me!
Edit: I've dusted and tidied living room and sorted all my bags of medicines out, feeling like I'm getting somewhere today0 -
Phew! Just sitting down with my spicy couscous for lunch...on a dining chair in the master bedroom of the caravan. Perfectly normal for this household.
Ladies, I have been Flyyyy-ing. Piggers, you'd be proudLoads sorted, chucked, recycled, swept, dusted, washed and packed away. Feeling v.proud.
Happy birthday Fayolle - hope the syrup hit the mark. My gums are starting to regret my chilli-laced lunch
Quick site meeting with the builder after I had to send the plasterer home, who looked like he was dying from the plague, poor guy. House is coming on nicely. New staircase being fixed in place next week. Internal doors and ironmongery ordered, carpenter booked for both. Extractor hood delivered and I located a long bit of ventilation flexi-duct to use with it, so a few pennies saved there.
I have been a little bit naughty and binned one of DH's more eyewatering ties. It's truly hideous. I'm not going to tell him :rotfl:
Oh, and I've made a litre of raspberry vodka...yes, more was needed due to DSD and DH discovering my last Christmas stash. I must find a better hiding place this time!
Lunch is over - anyone joining me for a HHC?
Hugs to all xxx0 -

Mr LW and I both wish Devil Cat happy days for his remaining time; and if he likes hugs, please give him a very gentle one from his Auntie Wolfy. xIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Christmas presents all sorted into the right places.. I have lots to buy for the bigger 3 at home and something cheap but substantial for Squeak
2 more mice today.. I have very efficient cats it would appear
Off to do dinner.. they want pasta and hotdogs.. I'm too tired to argue so will add extra tomatoes and cucumber and pretend it is a half decent meal!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Looks like I've managed to complete as much of today's list as I can, it's a miracle! DS seems much better today, so hopefully we'll get out to some fireworks tomorrow night.
I've got some YS baby spuds roasting in the oven with garlic and rosemary, and will make a puff tart to go with it in a bit with whatever veg I can find lurking.
Hope you all have a lovely evening. Thanks for keeping me on track. Usually by Thursdays I am flagging mentally so it's an improvement!Make £2025 in 2025 #18 - £569.66/£2025
