Have S&S kitchen and bathroom, airing out our beds, put a wash on, opened the windows, emptied the kitchen bins, sorted out the WM packaging into correct bins (that I'd just thrown out the back door last night, whoops), made a couple of calls, done the washing up and got us dressed. Now about to have another coffee before tackling anything else. I think on productive days I get too carried away and wear myself out for the next day. I don't think I ever completely recovered from CFS and need to accept that I can't just keep going and going.

Glad the order has come, pigpen. Happy flinging!

I have just cancelled a meeting that was due to take place this afternoon because the other person is unwell and I don't need her germs atm, so I now have a bit more time today to do the things I need to. I have already ordered a horse and a tricorne hat - of the Playm0b!1 variety ;) - for a joke present and done most of the dailies. Lots of paperwork and reading to do; Rosie will want a long walk at some point; maybe I will manage to get half an hour tidying the garden this afternoon; and there is a church council meeting to attend tonight. DH is in a bit of grump, for no particular reason, but I expect he will take himself off to his man cave and play happily by himself, only emerging for food or an afternoon snooze in front of the TV.

The sun has got his hat on so I will take Rosie out for a short walk before I attack the piles of paper on my desk.

Hope everyone has a productive day. (((Hugs))) to katiecat, LW and anyone else in need x

ATB sounds like a good result for £4

    Bread rolls bought
Money removed from ATM towards holiday spends
Shower tray cleaned it was yuk
Bed now made as cat has moved to his igloo
    Apple crumble in oven cooking
    Whole of down stairs hoovered
    Rubbish recycled
OH has gone off in a grump as I don't want to go to the cinema, as he has a two for one offer, there is nothing I want to watch, so he muttered something about buying Christmas presents for his grand kids, which to me sounds like a better use of his time............

1 large basket of laundry folded while I cooked food as we have no bread or cereal and I am starved.. so I can use the empty basket as a bin.. I have a box for keepy stuff, a wash basket for a bin and if it makes me go 'hmmm' in a thoughtful manner I don't need it! My house is full of boxes of 'hmmm'.. and I never look in them again.. bin bin bin...

food scoffed.. cuppa can can uppa with me!

  • Hi all

Things better here this morning. Trouble is DH just doesnt worry about money and I do which causes tension on both sides. Anyhow today is a days holiday from the paid stuff and I am supposed to be using it to munch a big frog that is steadily growing, namely DHs tax return. I have never been this late submitting it before and its niggling away at me so one way or another it will be sorted today.

Have been to the gym and done some cleaning and tidying but need to focus myself at the laptop now. Radio on, brew made, I will do at least an hour then have a break!

Why do I have so much crap? I have filled a binbag already and found a pile of nursery work to stash in their folders and half a wash load of laundry and a huge box of charity stuff.. my house is full of rubbish as I suspected!

Another brew which I will take up woth me and I will see where I am up to.. I have already cleared 2 square metres of floor.. it is so much easier without any 'helpers'

And, I was very brave and arranged collection of the shoes/coats/bedding for the refugee centre to go to Calais. so fed up of this house being this full! I hate being a hoarder it is such a battle!
