    Morning

Dizzy, I am step mum to 4 'little darlings' (all ages between 28 to 45) I listen but say nothing / or am very vague, as such, and I keep well out of it all, if they want to fall out at their age with their parents so be it, but I remind them that one day it will be too late to make it up.

    Rubbish is out
All internal doors oiled with wd40
    Ironing at the ready
The water board have just turned up next door with a load of equipment for digging and pipes / possible cameras etc, so I might go round and see what is going on, escpcially if they are going to switch the water off or suggest 'please don't use the drains more than you have to'

  • Ok here goes this week!

Monday - Living Room, Hall and Stairs
Wipe light switches, sockets and banister
Clean any other glass like mirrors, pictures & glass
Put up linings or winter curtains to keep out those draughts.
    Clean window
    Clean light fittings,

    Tantalising Tuesday - Kitchen
    Clean the window
    Wipe window sills
Wipe down any tiles and shine those taps
    Clean oven
Get in a manky cupboard. Give it all GOOD scrub out

If it's gone it's done, my friend messaged to say she couldn't come after all but I got most of the cleaning done while waiting. I should get the rest of the lists finished this afternoon between dinner shift and afterschool club.

Just popping in to collect last week's list. Yes, I know it's Tuesday, but last night was spent wanting to snooze.

Will catch up with you lovelies' lives later. :)

The boys are both back at school :j :j :j (does that make me a bad mum?)

Dizzy - NOT.AT.ALL. I think you and I have similar age gaps between our similarly aged children (mine are 5 and 3). I adore the bones of them, but they bicker incessantly. DS (the youngest) still tantrums a lot, hits his sister and is generally hard to placate. DD is calm and easy-going, and she gets so upset when he hits her. "THIS TOO SHALL PASS" runs on loop in my head! I really really struggle with them both at home at the moment xx

Lunch scoffed, and I've relented and put the heating on. Need to empty the TD, make our bed and empty the hoover. Oh and get swimming bags ready and start :xmastree: shopping!

Whichever lovely Flylady bought me the gold star keyring last year I thought you'd like to know it has pride of place on my house keys and makes me smile each day.

Right, :coffee: time, dig in! x

LR and dining room done, including dining room windows. Kitchen was looking better until I decided to clear out a cupboard with lurking bits in it. Spicy pumpkin and coconut soup now made, which cleared a small pumpkin from the utility room and coconut milk from the said cupboard.

Lunch has been had of lurking fridge bits - interesting combo in a wrap! The freezer audit has produced dinner - turkey, pastry, veg and rhubarb. Turkey pie tonight then, but I won't tell them it's not chicken, so they don't suspect that it might just be from last Christmas' leftovers

A huge cardboard box that's too big for the attic is going to school with me tonight ready to be turned into a Christmas play prop, that will free a lot of space in the room I'm clearing as part of the challenge

  • Swimming lessons done, pasta boiling, tea being drunk! Will then gird loins to bath the small people, before collapsing in a heap on the sofa!

Have lovely evenings all, see you in the morning x

larges bossed to load DW.. and they can do it again later too... I might have enough they can do a load each..

Hazel decluttered a second mouse! .. Why would a squeaker be stupid enough to try hibernating in a house filled with felines? Do they not get taught cats are bad by their very delicious Mama Meeces?

  • Hi all

Well the day didnt get off to a great start as DH and I had a blazing row. I wish I could say that it has cleared the air but it hasnt. Lots of tension around here, mainly caused by financial worries.

But we went out and had a nice afternoon. Could not motivate myself to do Christmas shopping at all but the 5 family birthdays I have before Christmas are sorted!

Cant be bothered to do anything at all now.
