Sue!! ME?? St Trinians? :rotfl: I want to say I was offended but soooo thrilled to be associated with that :rotfl:

I am only halfway through crocheting DS's christmas blanket  and halfway through sewing DD's quilt! I really need to moveth my backsideth! I am determined to have them done by christmas as i'm becoming rather well known through friends and family for being late with my gifts :o Also need to come up with an idea of what to make my friend who I do 'not so secret' secret santa with (we are the only 2 in it :rotfl: )

Found a bit of shrapnel in a cash tin in the wardrobe this morning so that has gone in the tin, theres only 1cm of room left in it! where can I get some change!!?? Off to shake hubby upside down ;)

  • Looking forward to reveal day, although my total is mainly from cashback rather than actual cash.
I think with the switch to contactless payments being so much more common, my penny saving has taken a hit. Still emptying the boyfs wallet for shrapnel though!

    Xmas Saver!
hey long time no posts as I haven't used cash recently.

Want to have better finance habits so I took out £50 of our food budget (I already budgeted this in) in cash so whenever we go to tesco we know exactly how much is left.

We aim to go healthier so hopefully this would help with our money too.

I had £3.76 in change but I'm only potting
    0.76p

I potted some change the other night that i've found around the house but I'm not sure how much that was as I didn't write it down. I also had to take £2 out to give to a girl for part of a leaving present for the other girl.

  • Good morning potters! I potted an additional £9 odd yesterday after emptying my purse, onto the final push for potting now! I’ll be at work in the morning of deceleration day but will be home by 12pm and will get straight to counting. I can’t wait to see how everyone has done!

I've potted £7.62 today, first time in ages as things are a bit tight!

I'll be late declaring too, as I'm going away and won't be back until late next weekend. I hope everyone reaches their own personal target!

Hey my lovelies...happy almost counting up day! :D

Sue, I shook my tin and there was barely a sound! I blame this on 1. Finishing my degree and starting teaching (I have no time to think let alone get money out and spend it). 2. We are on an air miles mission for our next holiday so everything goes on the card! and 3. I have a teenage daughter who always seems to be trying to tap me up for cash! :rotfl:

With that in mind, could you pop me off your list as I won't be counting up this year and I don't want to hold up the final total. ;) I promise I will still pop the odd bit of shrapnel in my tin and maybe next year there will be enough to count?! :o

Much love to you all. :smileyhea I hope whatever you've managed to save helps you out! :xmastree:
Saving for Disney again, oops why book one Disney holiday when you can book two!

The fortnightly purse emptying produced £7.89.It will all go to the credit union on Wednesday.Still have several pounds worth of coins to be bagged for that, and its a nice little total.I save at the credit union for when my white goods break down. From experience I know several things tend to break down together, and its been a nightmare in the past, having to get on credit. No more being ripped off with exorbitant APRs:T.So far I have over £500 saved,so thats my,oven and hoover sorted in advance, and half a fridge.:D Then it will be a new carpet, then a garden shed because I am sick of stuff stacked in the cupboard under the stairs which threaten an avalanche when I open the door I want to store my books and family history stuff in there instead:):p.
This afternoon. I have to add up my totals from surveys. I normally dont make much from them,as they regularly offer me surveys around 10 am,and I am too busy with Mr Dusty and chores to really settle down to doing one till after dinner, and they have already been filled by then.:
