So excited for tomorrow.Aaaaaaaaaand, for the first time ever,I have pot opening day off work, because it is school holidays. So I will be watching this thread live, while,at some stage, opening my pot.
as a final hurruh,am about to pot:
-all the shrapnel left in my purse tonight (£4.96),
-a £5 note that has been sitting on the side for ages (mine),
    -a £1 coin
-two £2 coins, collected over the last week.
    Total of £14.96 :j

I am hoping pot should be easy to count tomorrow, because I haven't put lots of small coins in,that take me hours to count, and I get different results when I count up every time. This year I have potted more notes, and gold coins.

SueUU.Every year,I mean to say to you, that,so you don't have to worry about people jumping in on next year's thread before you have posted the first 3-4 that you need to reserve, you could post the first 3-4 posts in seconds,by simply filling each with the minimum 10 characters.Maybe type "reserved -get orfffff",or a couple of kisses, etc on each post. That way you can then take as much time as you need to go back and edit them to say what you really want.Thank you for your work.

    :dance::dance:Hi Sue. (I didn't forget ;) )
Well here I am on my 'lunch' break at work with my tin in front of me opened & counted.

My tin total amount saved is £42.61

I also have to add on my works saving club amount but don"t get this back until the end of November. The amount expected should be £3300.

So my grand total total for this years sealed pot chalenge will be £3342.61

I will probably split the money between a badly needed holiday and my debts.

Looking forward to joining the new spc later today.

Hope everyone is pleased with what they have saved, well done all.

    Best wishes

    Rancid

Will pop back later to have a read :)

    Morning everyone
Got up bright and early this morning to open my pot and have a quick count up.

So, this year I've been saving my £5 notes, £2 & 50p coins and any other shrapnel in the purse at the end of the week. Starting the week with only £1 coins in the coin section of my purse. Have also decided to add in those JLP vouchers that I've got when using my CrCd.
Knew I wasn't going to do as well this year as last year, since I've really been trying to limit the spending. But am still really chuffed with what it added up to.

#574 reporting in with a total of £471.04 saved

Will definitely be popping in and out during the day to see how everyone does.
    Happy counting!

Hi Lucy. Well done with your savings.
I'm not sure why your siggy would not update..... you sure you used the save button not preview. Try on another device ie if you use a PC, try your mobile. I've just altered my siggy a little bit to see if there's a problem with the website, I added a smiley at the very end...but need to check if it's there. (It is, so do try yours again, try something short & simple to begin with)

Hello 32b3.....woohay indeed!!!! See you later!! :D

I didn't know we could add survey earnings.
Must remember to add them to my total tomorrow.

Aha but, nanto3girls...that's why it's imperative for ALL MEMBERS TO READ THE FIRST POST!!!! There's quite a lot you can include in your Totals, so please have a quick read through. See you when you're ready. :D

Thanks for the help, Saver-upper, but in fairness I have it all down to a fine art; I get all 4 ready to go then send the first etc. However, problems arise when, according to MSE ruling, I have to wait goodness knows how long between each post!! Never does time go so slow...hoping and praying no one will jump in between. :( It's only happened once though, so....! Thanks so much for your kind thoughts, I so appreciate them.

Excellent saving Rancid!!!! Congratulations to you and have a fantastic holiday with that which isn't thrown at your debt! Brilliant work!!! :T
