Thanks Joedenise & Maman
I know I need a kick up the proverbial and yes my menus are more than repeatitive!
I do have a holiday over the Christmas period to look forward to & was hoping to get to at least 4.5 stone off before then but for some reason it's gone the wrong way - OH had a little moan that we didn't have any chocolates in the house so bought him one of those pouches - and whilst polishing the halo I've not had one nor any of at the crisps he seems to constantly munch on.
I will try something different for my breakfast & lunch - even if it's leftovers ( for lunch that is lol). I tend to eat breakfast in work so that's why I've been going for cereal or porridge.
I will force myself to go swimming ....i want to buy myself a pair of waterproof headphones so perhaps that should be my 4.5 stone pressie!0 -

:hello: welcome nicki. You seem quite familiar with the plan if you've never done it before. Have you got the books?
I'm a bit of an over-researcher! I've been reading this thread and also minimums. I do have the books though don't know how old they are, and I also ordered a few recipe books from Amazon yesterday which arrived this morning. I found the descriptions in the official SW materials a bit confusing to be honest but thought I'd just dive in as best I can and see how it goes.
I only started yesterday and yesterday I had
Breakfast: two slices whole meal toast with butter and honey
Lunch: cheese omelette and pear
Dinner: chilli, one soft taco shell, large salad w/o dressing
Snacks: 2 bananas
So I think I went over the 15 syns yesterday as I thought you got 2 HEBs on EE. I'm sure that won't be the first mistake I make though.
My chicken, broccoli and mash was delicious tonight. I only had half a serving of the mash so hopefully stayed within my syns and I didn't feel at all deprived.0 -

Evening all, this week I'm very happy to report a 3.5lb loss.
I love reading all the posts and menus even though I don't usually have time and energy to post myself. You're all so inspiring, so thank you very much to everyone who posts here. :T :T :T
The Schwartz slow cooker curry was really good, even with chick peas instead of potatoes and was so easy to prepare so we'll definitely be having it again.[FONT="][FONT="] Fighting the biggest battle of my life.Started 30th January 2018.

it 1.5lb on for me not entirely expected but I'm sure I can shift it again my body seems intent on yo-yoing for a bit. as long as I finish my countdown (in 7 weeks) having lost 7lb or more I should be happy
I shall be spending saturday afternoon/evening planning at least a weeks meals to be 100% on plan!************************************

Evening everyone and welcome Nicki.
Todays food as per menu - the stir fry was full of lots of different veggies ( onion, spring onion, carrot, peppers, mushrooms, leeks, cabbage) with a little chicken, mine with noodles. A good way of using up bits of veg!Extras have been a second Alpen light (3) a 1/2 syn yoghurt and sweet chilli sauce (1.5) - total for the day 9.5. Really hope I don't have another STS tomorrow - think that'll be the 4th or 5th week in a row! By accident I seem to have hit a good maintaining diet.....
Tomorrow
B Alpen light and fruit
L Ham sandwich with salad, yoghurt, maybe a satsuma
D Not sure yet - need to do a shop tomorrow. Maybe salmon??
Bubbs syboes are spring onions, something I had never heard till I joined this thread!
Great losses Jay11, Beanie, and well done at getting back to target Denise.0 -

I think you could be right about the fruit bubbs . I try to have most of my Speed as veg. Sugar is sugar after all, however natural.
I asked greentiger about syboes a while back. Apparently it's the Scottish word for spring onions. My Nana used to call them shibbons so I think that was the Welsh version.
ETA: Great loss jay .Brilliant!
Good to hear you sounding so philosophical lush . Good to have that half stone as a mini target. It'll be much easier to do your menu planning around the musclefoods.0
