Evening everyone.
Couldn't face the bran flakes at 6.30am after all so just had them for 'pudding' with yoghurt rasps and honey as usual. Pleased to say they did what they're meant to!
Changed tea tonight as had a lot of speedy chilli left from the night before so had it over frylight fried potatoes, green beans and a sprinkle of cheese as I've only had a little milk today. Total syns today - Alpen light 3, mayo on salad 1, honey 1. Think that'll be it for today.
Tomorrow
B Alpen Light and banana
L Ham sandwich with 2 small slices wholemeal and a salad, yoghurt and fruit
D not sure yet - poss the stir fry abandoned from today.
Maman I love rye bread - it's sold widely where I live (Polish community here for many years) - I might get some when I next go shopping. Would Tesco not slice a loaf for you? I know they do in our local and in Morrisons.
All the best.
I didn't know you could get bread sliced in supermarkets. Thanks for the tip. We have a large Polish community too, ever since WW2. So far I've only bought branded that's on the HEB list. Could I eat any rye bread?
I know you had plenty of syns today but cottage cheese is lush with chilli and it's free. It has the same effect as sourcream with the spicy chilli.0 -

Breakfast - carrot, tomato, apple
Lunch - carrots, tomato, celery and pack of chicken (I realised it had lower fat than ham) banana
Tea - slimming world sausages and mushy peas
Snack - popcorn - I am hormonal!
ooh and the good news is......... I am not pregnant!100 -
Maman - well done on only a 1lb gain after your holiday; and only being 2lb above target range. I was 1.5lb above after WI last week. Hoping I'll have shifted a bit more of it when I weigh tomorrow! Really want to get back to target so I don't have to pay - I really begrudge it now!
Also I can't see any reason why you shouldn't have any rye bread as long as the weight is the same as a branded slice - the syns would still be the same.

Evening all
I don't know if it's the time of year or the weather but I'm finding it really hard at the moment, which isn't helped by the fact I was static weight wise for a fortnight before I went away, put on an horrendous amount but struggled to drop that down to 1/2 but now the weight seems to be going up for some unknown reason.
Trying to keep the faith but finding it hard.
Had my usual for breakfast & lunch whilst making a campfire stew for dinner - was very nice though made enough for dinner tomorrow.
Am going to try & go swimming tomorrow but my enthusiastim for that is low as well.
Sorry to sound as if I'm wallowing especially when others gave more bigger & real problems0 -
Gettingtheresometime - you say you had your usual breakfast and lunch but that may actually be the problem. It would probably help if you could mix things up a bit. I think I'd get bored if I had the same every day and I certainly wouldn't be able to stick to plan for long rather than the 7+ years I've been doing SW.
It can be helpful to try different challenges as well such as having a different HEB every day of the week; the 7 challenge which is having at least 7 Speed foods a day; 7 syns a day and 7 drinks of water a day.
Worth a try?

Determined to have another good day before the next 3 days which will be harder.
Today's plan:
Breakfast - toast and cheese spread
Lunch - pasta
Dinner - stir fry
HA - milk and cheese spread
HB - bread
Syns - cheese (6), crisps (3)Zebras rock0 -
I STS at weigh in today

Could I join in for some moral support please?
I've had a really tough year one way and another and when I stepped on the scales yesterday I discovered I have 3 and a half stones to lose to get me back to normal fighting weight. No wonder even my "fat jeans" are far too small now. I haven't done SW before so it's all new to me and I could do with all the advice I can get.
Today's plan:
Breakfast: egg, bacon, mushrooms and one hash brown (2 syns)
Lunch: Boots shapers sushi, fruit bag, Diet Coke (1 syn?)
I'm in a hotel tonight but have looked at their menu online and think I will have chicken breast, mashed potato and green veg no butter. No idea how many syns to allow for the mash but surely can't be more than 12!
HEA semi skimmed milk
HEAB wholemeal roll
Have been drinking water and tea and coffee other than the sneaky Diet Coke and plan to hit the hotel gym when I arrive for a gentle session to break me back into exercise.
I'm trying to do extra easy so if I've messed up the rules already please do let me know.0
