Well done to Deja Vu on SOTW :j:j:j:j:j

*SOTW is the person who lost most this week, and also lost or maintained last week.

sorry I'm late. it was -5lb for me last week's weigh in!

Was not at all well Thursday/Friday. Saturday and Sunday were mixed but significantly better and there for much better food wise yesterday.

I've also started my lovely journal from Beanie :)

    Food today:
breakfast: 2 chocolate Weetabix with milk from hea
mid morning: 2 lotus biscuits (3 syn)
lunch: baked mini omelettes with red pepper, spinach, mushrooms and some ham with baked beans. Cupshotz 1 syn (chicken pasta)
drinks: water/1 cup of tea with milk from hea/peppermint tea
tea: not so good...having to go to nieces bday tea...lord knows what the food will be! I may well steer clear...hopefully it will be tea party style and I can get away with a couple of small bits then I can have some eggs and veggies when we get home!

I'm in London on Thursday for work so missing my usual group :( I will instead weigh in at a Saturday morning group :)

Thanks for all the support, folks; it’s very much appreciated.

maman, I always write everything down. I have breakfast, lunch and dinner detailed on my planner in pencil. I cross off what I’ve had and if there are any changes I write them on in pen. I have several years’ worth of handwritten meal plans now. I use SW mag and the info I had when I joined online plus the books I got when I joined a class in January. Things really went off track after I joined the class. I know that is just a coincidence. The main reason for my disillusionment is that I am now 6lbs heavier than I was on January 3rd - my first class was on January 7, a new start and all that! It certainly was a new start!

GreenTiger. 6lb gain since January is nothing. If you hadn't been doing SW, chances are you would of gained a hell of a lot more.

When I plateau, or am really struggling over a number of weeks (and believe me I am writing this for me at the moment as well as for you), I consider the following:

    * Do I need a break? Stay on the forum, keep going to class, but don't really follow the plan, just eat not too stupid. I can find it just takes the pressure off, gives me a chance to get my mind back to the right place, whilst not going totally off the rails.

    * Am a weighing all my healthy extras and syns, of just guestamating them?

    * Is the speed part of what I am eating 'really' a third?

    * Am I forgetting some syns?

    * Am I in a rut? Do I have the same breakfast and lunch every day? Do I need a change?

Answer those questions. Read through all your books again from scratch, and see if you can get back to losing.

Hugs, I know it's not easy, but we will all help you and support you.

  • thinking ahead to Thursday; I can't really do much about lunch. last time it was a goulash with rice so I had rice and salad plus about 3 tbsp. goulash. the other option was mousaka. then there was fruit for after which I missed out on so I went for a walk. I got a hot meal in the station for the journey home. I had pastries for breakfast.

this time I think I will buy some strawberries, grapes etc and make a fruit salad for on the way down/back. I'll have that for breakfast and then lunch work out whats best from the options made available and will likely buy a boots meal deal for the train back (2 hour journey, no stops if I don't get something I'll cave in to train junk. I'm thinking sushi and either an egg and spinach protein pot or fruit salad or muller light I may even get it when I first get off the train so as not to risk ending up with duff choices. choices are boots or m&s) I will then likely get a train back from there rather than wait an hour or more for a lift but the second train is under 40 mins and OH will meet me at this end to get home. I will take 2 hifis and probably stick to peppermint tea. last time I got my hot meal from Wasabi but I can imagine it being high in syns. I can claim up to £25 in subsistence so budget isn't particularly an issue however time and how much I can be bothered is!

Hope you're feeling better now Kathrynha & well done Deja for SOTW.

Not really been with it for the last couple of days (got a membership form Greentiger?) - went out Saturday with friends & Sunday had my first Chinese from the takeaway since I started doing SW - & boy was it lovely!

Then yesterday mum gave us some homemade sausage rolls and although the mind was strong, the stomach was stronger so enough said about that.

The next couple of weeks are going to awkward as well - we're off on a weekend cruise this weekend (Kathrynha could you put down for a holiday for this week please?) then in a fortnight I'm off to watch the rugby which will involve lots of not on plan food & drink and then it's three weeks before we go away for Christmas.

Exercise has gone out of the window as well.

Know I need to keep the faith but slightly struggling at the moment

Well done Lush and Dusty on your amazing losses.

Noted your holiday GTS. Have a good time.

I'm amazed to be reporting a 3 lb loss, which is what I gained on holiday. Not sure how but I will take it.
