I haven't had kippers for an age but I don't remember them being that high syn. Which brand do you have? We buy the Sainsbury's and the whole bag is 3 syns which I share with DH. I usually count it as 1 syn as I don't mop up the butter from the plate.;)Allegedly, Aldi kippers are free but I've never ever seen them in my branch.


I was good last night in that I didn't have wine syns but I did succumb to a few chocolates so swings and roundabouts there.:)


I've had a SW breakfast (Full English) and I've got a SW friendly lunch (ham with bubble & squeak) planned.... but this evening will be hugely off plan with a chicken & leek pie. DH will think it's Christmas already.


I'm using Christmas to have treats that I've chosen to go without all year. I plan to enjoy them.:D

Just to report a -1.5 loss this week. I’m pretty happy with that as I seem to be moving again and in a better mindset.

Glad to hear you got good news from the docs Kathryn, I hope the next scan shows even more improvement.

I’m staying on plan til tomorrow evening then back on it Boxing Day (or maybe the day after ). Right now I have to blitz the house. Surely that’s a bit of body magic?!

It's absolutely amazing how many of you are losing right up to Christmas.

On pretty much on plan today although could probably do with a bit more Speed - does wine count, after all it's grapes, LOL?!!!

Today's plan:

B - baked oats with jam - 0.5 HEB + 1
L - crustless quiche; chips & beans; baked oats with jam - 0.5 HEB + 1
D - Spag bol with loads of added Speed. Have cooked a load in the SC and will freeze the extra and probably make a shepherds pie or lasage with it

HEA - milk
HEB - oats
Syns - jam 2; wine ?

Well another ‘not defeat’ for the unmighty Bairns today, with a high scoring 0-0 draw. We are slithering away from the bottom team. But not getting any nearer to the team above; it’s chewi.ng nails to knuckles time.
