Merry Christmas to everyone on the thread.
I've been exposed to a few temptations but managed to stay on plan. Perhaps a little chunk extra cheese passed my lips tonight but all considered, in the greater scheme of things I've done well. Several events including a celebratory lunch, a few carols singalongs with mince pies and mulled wine, the annual allotment "bring and share" Christmas bash and finally tonight the Christmas Eve feast of gnocchi and cheeses with my family. All the way I've counted my syns, drank my water or tea and eaten fresh fruit instead of cake. But cheese is my kryptonite and I think I've exceeded my allowance by 5-6 syns today.
Tomorrow I will have a few extras but will stay as much on plan as I can. This year I can use the double oven to make separate roasties, theirs regular and mine with less fat. Hopefully I won't undo all the good work so far.
So, happy Christmas and good luck with staying on plan, everyone! Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).0 -
Well I’ve stuffed myself silly since Monday, but I went to Mass tonight and on the way back to the car I felt my jeans escaping down my legs! In fact they were slipping so much I was convinced I had put my size 22 ones in by mistake- but no, they were my size 18’s!!! How the hell does that work?! Been off plan for nearly a week (I know, I know)

Well done, TIE, VALM, tweets and Sunshine.
Thanks for the cake, bubbs; it was delicious. Did you make it yourself?
Merry Christmas everyone. I hope your stockings, rather than you, are well stuffed.Sewing 88/COLOR]Woollies 19Card s 91Reading 37/400 -

So presents were mainly of a 'healthy' theme.
1. Running shoes - he must be f****** joking!
2. Thermal tights 'as you complain your legs are cold when we are walking'
3. Leather gloves 'as you complain your hands are cold when we are walking'
4. Hat - to wear when walking
5. Garmin watch from DS3 'so you can measure your walking/health, I've set it so that if you have a heart attack in the night it sends an alert to your phone'
6. Bottle of rum/coconut cream liquor - I had a small glass - OH drank the bottle and is now asleep.
7. Knives
8. Pans (I don't cook)
9. Rice cooker
10. a parachute (don't ask - I do not understand)
11. 3 large oil paintings
12. several toiletry sets
13. socks
14. wine (from DMIL)
I feel rather spoilt.... but I think they are going to be mean to be from tomorrow morning! I told DS3 to set the watch at 10,000 steps a day, DS2 pipes up that I need to increase this.... I may go and live with bubbs!100 -
Oh my, Sunshine, I hadn’t realised your whole family were ganging up on you making sure you stayed fit and healthy!
Well, WI today showed + 0.6lb this morning. I can cope with that. The question is, what will NEXT Monday show?Sewing 88/COLOR]Woollies 19Card s 91Reading 37/400
