A much better day today, hopefully will influence tomorrow WI.

Brunch: red peppers, courgette and mushroom (S) omelette (P) with frylight, steamed greens (S) with 1 tsp oil (2 syns).

Dinner: broccoli, carrot, celery and leek (S) stew with kidney beans (P), tomato, lettuce, cucumber and red onion salad (S) with 65 g reduced fat feta (HE A), 2 tsps oil (4syns). 8 almonds and 30g dried apricots (1/2 and 1/2 HE B), chopped apple (S) with 100g Alpro soya custard ( 4 syns). Total 10 syns.

Could the experts in Extra Easy SP please check if this is an acceptable SP day? Thank you.

Will report back after tomorrow morning if it has worked!
Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).

I think they are trying to kill me!

For my pigs in blankets, I cut a SW sausage up, and wrapped it in bacon with the fat removed. :D:D:D

Welcome, I cannot believe it is the beginning of a new challenge. It is my last chance to get the weight off before the trip.
I used waitrose cocktail sausages that were 1 syn each then finished myself, hope you are well insured:rotfl::rotfl:
I know challenge soon comes round

Denise, sadly my gain was BEFORE my Christmas dinner, and I was out for dinner tonight too.

maman, just lie down in a darkened room.

Hello. Nathsmam. Find a seat and join in.

I do think the run up to Christmas has been harder than Christmas itself, as you meet up with different friends and family - but that is lovely and should be enjoyed x

Caterina - you've only got 1 HEB listed. You get 2 HEBs on EESP so definitely have another one on top of your planned menu for today. As far as I'm concerned it's the only worthwhile thing about SP, LOL! I only do SP very occasionally as I like my carbs too much.

Today's plan is a bit short on Speed as I haven't been shopping yet (didn't buy much last week as we were going to DD2s for Christmas Day and knew she'd give us some LO to bring home for Boxing Day!).

B - bacon, egg, fried up LO potatoes
L - gammon, lettuce, tomato sandwich spread with LTL mayo (0.5)
D - shepherds pie made using the rest of the SC savoury mince which I froze last week; will serve with red cabbage from freezer

    HEA - milk
    HEB - bread
Syns - LTL mayo 0.5; not sure what else yet but definitely some

Hello, thank you Denise, I decided to have only one HE B because it's mostly a carb choice and I was trying to offset the Christmas carbs. The plan worked because ......drum roll.....I LOST!

    -1/2 lb!!!!! I know it's not much but I'd rather it's a loss than a gain!:j
