Going to group on Saturday, now I'm officially a part of the social team (weighing), as the couple that normally do this are moving away soon.
This Saturdays is just a "weigh and go", hence I've booked a holiday, so will be just going to do the weighing in. Now being a paying member again, I don't want to pay £4.95 to find out I've gained! Plus there's no image therapy, it's a waste I think. I am back on it as much as I can, as I need to get back into target.
When we had the ice a couple of weeks ago, I slipped and fell over and hurt my back and I'm still in paid now
Hope everyone else is keeping well x
Sorry you had a fall and hurt yourself, hope you soon feel betterx

Hi Nice to see you:D

Bubbs:- Thank you - if it doesn't get better, I may have to visit the doctors. Re:- the weigh and go, that's what the consultant has said - we can stay for a cuppa and a chat and get any support we need, buy bars and whatever, but there's not going to be any image therapy. I normally wouldn't go, but as I'm on the social team I've booked a holiday, so not weighing in.
Do other members on the social team get anything for doing it? People often ask me this and look surprised when I say no.Striving to clear the mortgage before it finishes in Dec 2028 - amount currently owed - £24,616.090 -

Which is why I begrudge paying £4.95! We don't get anything for doing it (unless the others have been but not said anything), but I have only just started doing it all the time, as before I was just a standby who could step in when someone didn't turn up.
Good morning, btw.Striving to clear the mortgage before it finishes in Dec 2028 - amount currently owed - £24,616.090 -
Morning all.
Hope you all had a lovely Christmas and well done, Caterina.
I've had to weigh early this week as I won;t have access to scales at the weekend, and am pleased to report a STS.
Bad news is I have just 3.5 syns to last me today and tomorrow after having blown 46 on Christmas day!
We're going shopping later after which I'll finalise the plan for the week ahead but today is looking like;
Brunch; mushroom omelette, 2 small slices wholemeal bread (HEXB), muller light yoghurt
Dinner; chicken, jacket potato, red pepper slices, 35g reduced fat cheddar (HEXA)
Snacks: clementines, grapes0 -
Thank you all for the congratulations! Good luck to the WIs due in the next few days.
I have a challenging few days ahead of me and worried that they will set me back. I'm going for a short break with DH for 3 nights over the New Year. Breakfasts won't be a problem with poached eggs, beans and grilled tomatoes. Lunches will have to be picnics or baked potato jobs, but am concerned about dinners, it's 3 courses.
I wrote the hotel a long email saying I've dietary special needs. I said I have IBS as suggested by a member of my slimming group, rather than having to explain I'm on a diet. They take it more seriously if it's medical! I asked if i could have very low fat meals and gave a lot of examples, basic foods like plain rice, grains, potatoes and veg. Also offered to bring in my soya stuff if they don't provide etc. I hope they will do this for me. My fear is my DH because he'll eat all the nice stuff in front of me a nd he's a pudding fan. The temptation will be there facing me all the time. Ah well, one day at a time ...Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).0
