I am unrepentant,I always meant to go off plan. I only put on 2 lbs in the whole 40 weeks I have been slimming,(1 1/2lbs and 1/2 lb) so some would say I did badly, but I had my fave chocolate liqueurs, and profiteroles, and my daughter's delicious corn beef plate pie and salmon buns, and enjoyed it all.And a Chinese takeaway yesterday didnt help either:eek:
Bit of a sad month for me at times, within a period of 5 days I had the anniversaries of my mother, brother, and sister's deaths, and have the first anniversary of my other sister's death on 2nd January,so I always want a joyful Xmas as a comfort for the sadness.Had a great Xmas anyway. I was very flexible with the syns,(some would say I was practically a contortionist) and after 3 months alcohol free I probably used 80 syns for my whiskey over the week, and thoroughly enjoyed them all.. Good job whiskey is carb free:D:D:D
Have a Happy New Year,people!!!!

Evening all
Bit fed up today. I put the new jeans on I bought in the sales and they’re very tight thanks to that huge gain but when I stood up they’re saggy! Can’t win can I
Been to look at our (hopefully!) new car today. It’s not new but it will be new to us, going back Saturday to hopefully seal the deal.
Today’s menu:
B: HEXB bran flakes, yoghurt and banana. Decaf coffee with HEXA
L: Aldi Lamb rogan josh (1.5 syns) green beans, baby corn, carrots, peas and sugar snaps. Decaf coffee with HEXA, water
T: SW chicken nuggets (6 syns for breadcrumbs) mash made with remainder of HEXA, broccoli, cauliflower, carrots. Mint Vienetta (6.5 syns) with cream (1.5 syns) and strawberries. Water
S: bag of French fries if I’m still hungry (4.5)
Syns:20

Hugs Dusty. September and October are a bit like that for me with lots of anniversaries. Always a gain period weight wise, but I try not to feel guilty about the gains. Thanks for the chart Kathryn. I'd wondered where you were - glad you weren't in hospital which is what I'd thought.
Did end up in hospital over christmas but thankfully I was at home for Christmas day.Zebras rock0 -
Bubbs,I had no problems whatsoever, felt perfectly fine:j It was all that alcohol that did me in! Also that takeaway, all that rice just bloats me up something rotten. We had stuff on Christmas Eve,then dinner at mine on Xmas Day,the huge family party at my daughter's on Boxing Day,and my granddaughter's 23rd birthday yesterday. Talk about a packed schedule of temptations!
Could possibly have pared down that 3.5 lb loss at weigh in,if it hadnt been so horribly cold. I had tights under my thickest trousers,a woolly jumper that didnt get removed for the weigh in at 9.30 am,and before I left home I had a a hot drink (which weighs almost 3/4 of a pound (!) and a cheese omelet. No point trying to shave off a little bit weight when the result was already so dire.:rotfl:
Back on track from 2nd Jan. I assume Kathryna is getting geared up for another challenge for January?0 -
