    Hello everyone,

Please can I join your next challenge. I lost weight last year and got to target in July but 7lbs has crept on again. I find it really hard to be strict with myself when 'it's only 7lbs', but if I don't catch it now, I'll be back where I was a year ago. So with your support I hope to get the weight off without going back to class.

So -7lbs for me Kathrynha. Thanks :T:T

Welcome BarleySugar to the thread. You are absolutely right that it is best to tackle the weight loss now rather than letting that 7lb turn into 14lb or more before deciding to shift it.

    Today's plan:

    B - almond baked oats - HEB + 1.5
    L - leek & potato soup
D - HM burgers; SW chips; corn on the cob; beans

    HEA - milk
    HEB - oats
    Syns - 2.5g flaked almonds 1.5

Need to keep syns low as had far too many yesterday!

    Hi.
Just been clicked on the link that chrisv posted.
Seems I am obese and need to loose 3 stone. I agree with it.
Going to break it down to 7lbs at a time.
Will there be a new challenge soon?

Yes a new challenge is starting on Monday. It will be 9 weeks long. I'll put you down for 7lbs. I will be creating the new thread this weekend

Yep. If people want to post their targets they can. It will be a 9 week challenge, finishing on 4th March. Will set up the new thread this weekend.

Going to run the new challenge with the weeks going from Monday morning to Sunday evening to fit with slimming world.

Also if anyone has a suggestion for the thread title please post them.

I'm going to go for 10lbs as 2 weeks later will take me to Cheltenham races and it would get me to under 13st 7lb if I can do it. Not been on the scales. Aim for end of June will be 12 stone 6lb as then I'd be overweight instead of obese and I've not been that since I was 12. I'll have put weight on tho since I last weighed so there will be that to get off too as I've not been on the scales since a week on Monday so
    :T:T :beer: :beer::beer::beer: to the lil one :) :beer::beer::beer:

I just did that too. My target weight is in the middle of the healthy zone so I'm pleased with that. :) What's interesting if you click on the healthy/balanced diet section on the same NHS site is that it could be SW they're describing.

I'm feeling a bit bloated today but I'm sure once I get back properly on plan it'll be sorted. We're having burgers today too denise although I'm having BGTY rather than HM. I bought them in specially for days like this where I CBA to go shopping.:)
I made some soup yesterday from the ham stock I'd saved from Christmas Eve. Fortunately there was room to keep it in the freezer in the space where the turkey had been. I'll have some for lunch and freeze the rest.

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, 2 boiled eggs, HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks
    L: lentil and veg soup
D: BGTY burger, SW chips, salad
Syns: burger 1 and anything else that tempts me;)

    Old.

Anything after midnight on Sunday is in the new challenge.

Technically any weigh in's on Monday the 1st will be in both challenges, but it will be simpler in the long run if our challenge weeks run the same as the SW weeks, so that when people go to a group that isn't their regular, it won't give them 2 weigh ins for one week and none for another, which a couple of us had over Christmas.

Morning :santa2: I hope everyone had a good :xmastree:

Not sure how, but for this week.

I'm going for -7 for the next challenge please kathrynha.

That would take me to my target, which is the very top end of a "healthy" weight according to this https://www.nhs.uk/Tools/Pages/Healthyweightcalculator.aspx - but - I still don't feel that I'm anywhere close to where I want to be, if that makes sense.

The "healthy" range covers over 2½ stone so I may have to reconsider my target :)

:T:T:T well done, i wont be like "normal" people weight but i will be what i can hopefully maintain:D
