I'm too embarrassed to post my Christmas gain. I'm ending the challenge heavier than when I started :(

I did not drink enough water (or any drink actually - severely dehydrated which happens far too frequently in my life), not enough fruit and I'm not regular...but that always happens when I'm not on track with hydration or fibre!
I compromised this year and we went o mil's for Christmas lunch.
it wasn't as bad as usual but certainly wasn't particularly close to plan! next year we have agreed either we will host my parents or we will go to theirs. depends on how dad's health is...it doesn't look good for him at the moment!

Can I go for 9lb for my next target please.

trying to get back on it today:
breakfast: 2 scrambled eggs with red pepper, lean bacon and mushrooms
lunch: small portion of homemade soup
tea: took OH to frankie and bennys. i had a steak with salad and 1 onion ring (3syn) approx 4.5 syn in coleslaw. diet pepsi to drink
i am going to have my first mince pie of the season (!) which will take me over my 15 (11 for the mince pie - 18.5 in total) however i will be much lower the rest of the week. I will likely freeze the others to avoid temptation!

I hope everyone had a nice Christmas and was treated well. I did particularly well this year and got my soupmaker at last! Can't find my little book of soups so ordered another copy at group yesterday however I've already made leek and potato and also carrot and cauliflower. just need to work on the volume of liquids I'm adding :)
I went to asda yesterday and got £32 worth of fruit and veg for £3.92 (split between us and my parents) so got lots of soup making supplies and also some sweet clems, strawberries, grapes and raspberries to keep me going. going to freeze the rasps and strawbs for overnight oats. trying to spend as little (on everything) as possible after this week but have some easiyo sachets to make up and use (easy to syn) for oats etc. will just by the essential milk and ham.

I also did my fitness DVD today as I couldn't get to the gym (didn't fancy attempting the ungritted roads to be honest!) i did it start to finish which impressed me as it's a while since i did it!

I would love to be at target by next Christmas however i do want to pace myself somewhat so I'm aiming for a steady 1 or 2lb a week. if I can manage 1lb a week average I'll be there :)

OH has changed his hours at work and we changed childcare so my routine now should look a little more along the lines of:
Monday: gym (cardio - bike/treadmill/cross-trainer for 45-60mins) whilst littlie is at school
Tuesday: work - then a few rounds on the dvd (hiit based) before a light tea (maybe not the whole dvd as its a bit over an hour and I'll have little one to feed and bed)
Wednesday: work - then gym (cardio again as above)
Thursday: work - the sw group
Friday: work - then dvd (as above)

I'm contracted to my gym membership until around july then i may cancel as I'll not go much over summer and hopefully I'll get in to a decent groove with exercising at home alongside taking little one swimming/out etc

The little book of soups is fabulous isn't it? I recently made the BNS one and its gorgeous.

    Which DVD do you do?
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!
