I got the Asda veg today - they had mountains of it! Aldi and
, if I can bear it, Tesco tomorrow.

Still trying to use up some of the food we have in to avoid buying anything other than the Christmas shop, so todays menu as below:
B Bran flakes, blackberries, yoghurt and honey
    L Aldi's tinned Ravioli, apple
D OH made his special tortilla dish, one with spicy veggie mince and peppers topped with salsa, one with butter beans topped with yoghurt and a sprinkle of cheese and baked, with a salad dressed with lemon juice. Apart from the tortillas, SW friendly. He hasn't cooked in ages so I wasn't going to argue!

    Tomorrow
    B Boiled eggs, crispbreads
    L Tuna salad
D HM spinach, potato and chickpea curry

Well done Caterina on your great losses!
Good luck to those still to weigh in this week.

Hi, Caterina, I admire your resolve.

    Well done, Mrs_R and Caterina.

Nice to see you again, shala. Have a great Christmas and a rewarding 2018.

My only worry is how many carrots do I need to eat before I turn orange!
That made me laugh, Sunshine, because we used to have an orange colour factor canary. We had to give it carrot to keeps its colour bright!

I need a belt for my jeans as i can pull them down whem still fastened.
I have asked Santa for a new belt.

Quiet day today, but not the best SW wise.
Off to do last of Christmas and birthday shopping tomorrow.

That's a great idea caterina. I don't have scales at home otherwise I'd be tempted to keep checking. I just use my clothes as a guide between WIs.

That's a real NSV. I remember wearing the same pair of trousers to WI for months (I did wash them in between;)) and people were laughing as they got baggier and baggier.

Joking aside ssm, I think you should try and have a bit more protein alongside the Speed. A couple of days on your fruit and veg regime won't do any harm but that's probably enough.:)

It's DD1's birthday today so not quite sure of our plans for this evening. She says she doesn't want to do anything as it's a school night but that might change. I've written down a freezer meal as whatever happens I won't have much time to cook and if I don't need it, it can stay where it is.

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, HEB toast, 2 boiled eggs, HEA milk for drinks
L: LO 'chicken' casserole with cauli, broccoli and potatoes
D: Chunky chilli and rice with cottage cheese
    Syns: tba

I made the casserole yesterday with a stock pot instead of the usual stock cube. I think it tasted even better, more intense. Any views? Recommendation?

Congratulations on becoming a mum anniversary x

I tend to have a crafty weigh in mid week...... I think I will do it in morning before I start eating properly again.

I totally agree that 3 days is long enough, I was going to do 2 - but then I found another pack of carrots in the fridge. I have now run out of carrots, tomato, cucumbers.... I have fruit but that is too sugar high. I think I will have an omelette for breakfast!

I could set up my own diet plan..... eat as much raw veg as you can!

OH has made me walk 10,000 steps today... 1st time this week as I have been in too late from work the other nights.

  • Right, a very quick check-in to say hooray! I lost -1.5lb this week getting me back to my 6 stone award plus an extra pound so I am now at my lowest weight. That was my xmas wish at group so I'm pleased!

Unfortunately I am now off to Egypt for Xmas so at least half a stone will go back on but that is why I was determined to get back to my lowest weight so a gain wouldn't be so horrendous!

I won't be posting again for a couple of weeks now so have a fab xmas everyone!
