Trying to eat up bits and bats before the dreaded Christmas food shop. As we're only home Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, I won't be going OTT. We've agreed the Christmas Day menu which I can do with very few syns if I can avoid pudding ..oh, but the cheese...and the wine...never mind, it's once a year isn't it? I haven't eaten my favourite blue cheese in nearly a year so I'm going to have it.!

I'm with you on your plans esmy although I've yet to write my plan yet.

Other than a pudding alternative when I've been out I've had little cheese through the year. Crisps will also be on the menu and I'll have a bit of Christmas pudding.

That's a job for later :writing my plan and shopping list.

ETA: Good to see you back lush . Hope you all had a good time

    Hello all,

I've finally joined a club using the free me membership voucher and bought the 6 weeks countdown, so I'll be going for another few weeks. At first WI last Weds I had a 6 1/2 lbs loss, very glad to report! I'm sure it will slow down but I'm eating well and never feeling hungry so far. Next WI tomorrow.

I'm resigned to using frylight after all, because oil is better enjoyed on my veg. The best part of it is not eating cakes or biscuits, only tiny amounts of bread, so I've lost the bloatedness. Only having tiny amounts of sugar too (and no nasty chemicals sweeteners from Dr Frankenstein lab) in my 0% Yeo fruit yogurts but they're free so there can't be a lot of sugar in those. And occasionally I have a ryvita or 2 with a tsp jam instead of biscuit and count it as HEB plus 1 syn.

Overall it's serving me well and I'm already planning how to have a low syn Christmas meal. Steaming all the veg, roasting my potatoes and parsnip separately in frylight, the Linda Mac veg roast is 3 for a portion, I can count HEA and HEB plus a few fat syns for the stuffing and another few for gravy. I reckon that with Panettone included I won't exceed 20!
:T:T:T:T well done, i am not plannig on many syns 9lbs too target!

    Commiserations kathryna . It'll pass.:(

Sounds like you've eaten your way through the greengrocers ssm but it is a very odd menu. I know you're really trying hard but are you enjoying it?

I'm trying to have a couple of fruit and veg days to try to break the blow up with fluid week.....I would like 2 lbs off this week.

I have to admit that I am rather enjoying it... well that is the wrong term.... it is handy and not as bad as I thought and I am never hungry.

OH has just sat next to me with a bag of popcorn... it may break me!

My only worry is how many carrots do I need to eat before I turn orange!

    Hello,

    Thank you for welcome words!

Kathrynha can you please put me down for 9lbs by 23rd March, it will take me down the next stone and all my 10% weight loss. On 24th March I go to Italy for a holiday so want to look super nice!

Maman thank you I will ask if I need. Atm I still have the online facility for syns etc which helps. By the end of 6 weeks I expect I'll have learnt the values of my main meals and might go it alone. My lovely healthcare assistant at the GP surgery is happy to weigh me every month.
Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).
