I got some of these about 10 years ago, they have been used and abused, but still great and worth every penny i spent. I had a set of le creuset, but gave them away because they were so heavy, so i recommend you try and find someone with them and have a feel at a full pan before you get some lol.

Steller pans here too, other stainless steel pans I have are cheaper as we don't have the dosh now lol, but they have been the best.
Sometimes the best pans are just the ones you like for no apparent reason.
I have one very old omlette pan which came to me from MIL. It is old and battered and seriously "seasoned" but it makes perfect pancakes and 2 or 3 egg omellettes, yummy.

I was looking at pan sets a few months ago, mainly the Myers in Debenhams.
But nothing floated my boat.
Le Creuset float my boat but are far too heavy & not really foor cooking on glass, BUT THESE ARE:D
Thank you:T0 -
Congratulations on your forthcoming marriage. We splashed out on a set of Analon hard anodised aluminium pans a few years back and haven't regretted it for even a second. I have always had huge problems with non-stick frying pans as I tend to cook at high temps and the non stick always peels after about 6 months. These are still looking fantastic and are as non stick as they started - I bought the original set on a half price offer in Debenhams but have since bought additions at full price. They are quite heavy but nothing like as much so as Le Creuset.
I might ask my parents in law if they will get us the Analon roasting tin for christmas....!:p🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Is stainless steel the way to go for a wok if I use an oil mister? I am on Slimming World and need something to cook stir frys in with minimum oil.
I found an ordinary heavy wok from a Chinese supermarket was fine for that, just wash without soap and wioe round with oil before storing it for next use.No longer half of Optimisticpair

I'd also go for Stainless Steel pans - ours are from Tesco! My Dad has Le Creuset and I can only just lift them empty let alone full!
I was always convinced that I had to have non stick pans and then realised that good stainless steel is better.Piglet

I couldn't lift Le Creuset either.
But the ones above are Le Creuset AND stainless steel:j0 -

They look lovely but a little out of my price range! The ordinary Tesco s/s have done us pretty well over the last four years.
Can you sell old Le Creuset? Dad struggles to use his (the ex step mother bought them) and I'd quite like to get rid of them!Piglet
