SS, I was just going to suggest these ones, but it looks like rosiedee beat me too it :p:D

You get the saucepans, but, as it's a home starter kit, you get the other bits and pieces that you'll need and it's £20 cheaper too :)

See.. now I wouldn't buy that one however good the offer.. the handles ALWAYS snap off.. I'm going for the ones with reivetted on steel handles.. they only get hot lol..

I only use the big pans, I give my little pans to my sister who lives alone.

I just checked mine.. I have one of the pasta pans as well. :D.. and a spatula...

Ahhh you people. Like buying these things isn't stressful enough and you come up with alternatives! :wall: :rotfl:

    Hmmm.

I do like the look of the starter kit however, it comes with 2 frying pans (will I ever need 2? :undecided) and only 4 sets of cuttlery! I'm thinking I'll need 6 or 8!

The only difference in pans/pots between the two is; instead of a milk pan, you get another frying pan (with the starter kit).

Soo.. not wanting to tell you what to do or anything....but :p

The starter kit is £20 cheaper, and if you're not going to use all the bits, I'm sure you can find someone to give them a good home. That way you'll still get your pots and pans (for cheaper :p) and they'll get the extra bits :)

    My two pence worth.

    Hi SS

We bought some Viners from Debenhams last year in the sale and they are brilliant. We got 3 saucepans with lids for £35 reduced from £150+....or something like that. I put mine in the DW and they are fine.

    Just to add my experience,
I bought a set of Viners pans from an offer online. After a few months the copper bottom started to separate on the two smallest pans.
These pans came with a long guarantee but I had long discarded the receipt.
I emailed my findings and quickly received a paid label to return one of the affected pans for inspection.
This was quickly checked and I was invited to choose a full replacement set. I received this swiftly and all has been well since. I still use the pans they didnt want back!

So yes good pans and a good manufacturer.

All sounds positive then. My mum spotted them for me and she said were good and the company has been around ages!
