I hope all the little (and not so little) sick people are a bit better today.
NSDs- Still 7/12. Hairdressing appointment. Spendy but very necessary. I was beginning to look like Wurzel Gummage! (what do I mean beginning - I always look like a scarecrow (got that kind of hair!)
Organise - Got some washing done (where does it all come from? Oh yes. The floor of the boy's bedroom) Made soup from his lunch tomorrow and a big pot of a different kind for our dinner tomorrow night. Compiled yet another long to do list.
Value for money - Discount at hairdresser and a cheque for £75.00 to cover redecoration after the new heating system was put in. It won't go anywhere near the actual cost but nothing is so bad that it really needs done immediately.
Exercise - Walked to the hairdressers
Mental health - We both much better today. I really hope a corner is being turned.
Be Christmas ready - Bought some more chocolate and a pandora. This time for C. It's hidden upstairs at the moment. hoping to get it wrapped tomorrow whilst he's out with the "Wednesday Club"
Eat well - I have to be honest. I've been rubbish.

Today I am grateful for dd being sooooo much better, for not working today so I got to chill out with her, for dd tidying her room so that the dolls' house can now fit under her bed, for said dolls' house no longer being downstairs:j, for sorting out my felt stash, and my wool stash - 3 carrier bagfuls for the ch shop, for the knee exercises helping, for a good chat with big sis, for the washing machine getting through most of last night's washing, for dh.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0

f0xh0les - when dd was little, she used to cough so much she'd be sick. A friend suggested making up her bed with 3 layers of sheet + underblanket. That way you could just whip off the top layer and shove it in the bath, and have a ready-made bed already there. And yes, it was always in the middle of the night!NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0

Day 21
NSD 10/20
Clear out - Just a tiny bit of putting things into the recycling bin indoors to go out when I have more to the recycling bin in the communal bin area.
Organise - Usual lunch and flask of tea to hospital. Small bits done in the flat.
Exercise - Counting walking to and from the ward my Mum is on. Did walk down a flight of stairs. Not much but at least it is something.
Mental health - kind of ok. Made contact on social media with 2 relatives overseas will make it easier and free to keep them updated about my Mum. Just texted another relative regarding my Mum and said I would let them know if and when any changes. This will make my life a little bit easier.
Grateful for:
Making contact with 2 relatives on social media.
Finished reading my book.

Kerry Woman - do you have to travel far to get to the hospital? How is it going, not working (I think you had a temp post but stopped as soon as your mum was admitted)?NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0

Glad DD is feeling better apple, it’s awful being glutened when you’ve been careful.
Today was spendy and yesterday was a SFD. I needed chocolate and then when I got home I realised I actually needed vodka as well! Work is stressful and I never drink, barely drink if I go out but I’m learning how to try and unwind - chocolate, vodka and rubbing an aloe based heat rub into my shoulders helpsLBM = 07/09/13 Debt = £13339 (100% cleared)

Hi all
Failed in epic proportions on any attempt at not spending. Moved a small amount of cash from my savings to buy myself some new clothes. I do need them though and I did google "voucher codes for" and got a 20% off coupon. Its a little victory but still saved a tenner for a 10 second job.
Re done my budgets to allow for my splurge. Seems unlikely ill save much next month as we have so much planned but actually fairly happy with where we are as a whole. I can get a bit obsessive about saving (its for a house deposit) but I occasionally need hub to remind me that Im allowed a hair cut and the odd bit if clothing.
Today Im greatful for; hub making me a hot0
