Today I am grateful for fast bus drivers meaning we caught our connecting buses without having to run/waddle along, for meeting new people, for watching a couple of (emotional) films with dd and dh, for finding some knee exercises that I can do, for the possibility of going to stay with big sis between cmas and NY and maybe combining it with seeing a friend + her family over from Spain plus maybe seeing mum on our way home (ooph!), for finding out that a friend has found a bungalow for her parents and brother, for finally getting all the clean clothes put away, for discussing with big sis what to get mum for cmas.
Can anyone recommend where to buy pencil crayons with a name written on them?NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
Day 19
Was a spend day.
Organise - Took lunch and flask of tea to hospital. Just did a few things around the flat.
Clear out - just deleted some emails.
Christmas - was thinking of putting up the ceiling decorations before my Mum comes home from hospital. (still waiting as to when she can come home will put up Christmas tree and crib when she is home).
Mental health - Had a really good night sleep. Got up about 9.40am. Put my mobile on flight mode so not get phone calls from certain members of family(don't mind if brother and sister calls).
Grateful for:
My Mum laughing at something my friend said to her.
My friend visiting my Mum and giving me a lift home.

Washed all my Christmas mugs as they can be put into circulation now and made a pile of things that are a bit musty and need a good wash. Need to buy a gold pen to do my name cards for dinner, buy some mini lights and a play mat for my youngest & Im sorted.except for food which ill do nearer the time but Ive got the cash for.0

Mental health - feeling better now some stuff at work has been organised. Run plus chat to friend also helped. Away to head for an early night too.
Be Christmas ready - still nothing here
Eat well - had a fry up for tea

Hi all turtles :j
Checking in: 19/30
NSDs:10/15 no spends today
Organise: No cupboard progress today at all but did clear some more paper in office for bin collection, Most of it was piled on top of the radiator, so now much warmer as well win-win ! Also cleared a little in the bathroom, do realise that this scattergun approach means that nothing gets finished atm. DH asking when stuff can go back into dining room, can't decide what to put back in there atm.
Value for money - Prepared ingredients for curry but then realised DD wasn't coming over to eat, so ate leftover tagliatelle with sausage, leek rosemary & tomato. Like groundhog day here..
Exercise - Back out in the back garden, hard to believe but a plant I put in yesterday had been dug up, dragged into thecentra of the paving & then messed next to....couldn't be our beasts as that's a part they can't get into....even the blasted wildlife are agin me here!!
Mental health - Yep all in order..
Be Christmas ready - DH did some searching to see when we could get over to Ireland before Christmas, looks do-able & not too expensive. Just need to make sure the time is OK for DDs shifts (she has to take care of the beasts & herself) & then book. Repotted two little Christmas trees bought last year for 50p each.
Eat well - Not too bad, resisted choc & other items that were tempting me.
Gratitudes - Happy to be in garden again even if it is dark by 4.30 or so..will try & get out earlier (and daily, weather permitting). Peaceful day, no need for migraine medication, all good
Glad to hear things are better Kerry Woman & you are getting some rest..New start JAN15 - NOT BUYING IT 2015 . Long haul DFW #145 : 2011 DEBTBUSTING : £5500 OD GONE, £2000 OD - GONE £93,610.30 cc & loan debt - GONE 27.6.14 FINALLY DEBT & MORTGAGE FREE :happyhear0 -

Healthy eating & excersize- will try my best!
Christmas/ value- off to beamish this weekend for the Christmas market. Wearing xmas jumpers so happy I bought the kids them in the sale last year. Also suggested we take a picnic for during the day to keep costs down. Whatever I have left from this week is my budget.
Mental health- ok still feeling unwell and had a bad night with the kids. Off tp baby group at 10.30 & leaving house work til i get back. Unlike me but need to take it easy on myself0 -

Today is still NSD 9 because by the time I had run the gauntlet of YS bargain hunters and their sharp elbows yesterday, it was too late to get everything else done. So had to go to buy loo roll this morning and A1d1 to fill the fruit bowl that the kids completely emptied last night. Also Lemon flavoured paracetamol based drink.
Organise Plan for the week - we have a lights switch on Thursday, and the best gelato in Leicester will be consumed - they are doing (vegan) almond, and a dark chocolate, and a pear and ginger and a quince. The almond is to die for. The dark chocolate is heaven. Menus have been planned.
value for Money looking for bargains, trying to remortgage to lower %rate, making as much as possible rather than buying.
exercise none.
Mental health It's cold and dark and lovely, all good here!
Be Xmas Readywill sort Xmas stuff this week and keep on looking for advent calendar trinkets, all hot water bottles found and ready, plenty of hot chocolate in the kitchen
eat well- menus planned, food bought, all in budget
Report in daily Here!
Gratitudes[/B]
ITV2 so I can watch Celeb during the day while DH is at work, so he doesn't lose all respect for me. All healthy here apart from the occasional sniffle (see lemon flavoured paracetamol drink),4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!
