Today will be a totally unexpected NSD #9
I have things I need to buy, but I am going to go tomorrow instead. Enough food in to do tonight and tomorrow morning. The kids just won't have the massive choice of breakfasts. Won't do them any harm to return to the choices of the 1970s (take it or leave it)
Am going to start on the Organise bit - making a list, won't bother to check it twice yet though
Value for, money - no money spent but still has value.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Hello everyone
Didn't get up until 10.00am despite being in bed by 8.00pm last night. Don't know why I'm so tired. Anyway, kind of thrown my plans for today.
NSDs- 7/12. Well, I suppose that's positive at least.
Organise - Did our Tesco order for the holiday in the Lakes.
Value for money - The supermarket where we're going is very expensive so buying all the basics online is a saving not to mention being more convenient. We will use the local market, butcher and baker for our daily purchases as they are all very good.
Exercise - Don't suppose actually getting our of bed counts?
Mental health - The situation I mentioned yesterday was actually settled this morning much earlier than we thought. At long last C's late sister's estate has been settled and the family can now all move on. C is actually feeling a little bit down this afternoon because it's brought everything back to him. Not that there's a day goes by when he doesn't talk about her. It is good not to have all the legal stuff hanging over us any more.
Be Christmas ready -Well, I have wrapped all the presents we have and I'm about to start writing at least some of the cards.
Eat well -Think I'm going to have to give up on this one
Gratitudes – So glad that the above situation has now been settled. It has been terribly stressful.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.0 -
Clear Out - 2 items (1 listing) sold on fleabay - paid for and posted off
NSDs - 4 - not one today! Went into town with OH (he had a hearing test)
Organise - set your budgets now, pay to your debt/savings first
Food - £265.64/ £400 - small spend in Icyland
Fuel (me) - £54.45/ £65
Social - £125.74/ £150 -
Toiletries - £2/ £10
Clothes - £115.48/£100 - needed some new school shirts for DS2 and new school trousers for DS3
Gifts ( have DD's birthday just before Xmas and DS2's just after) - £315.14 -
Value for money -used £7 of M&S rewards against school shirts and trousers - and used a double or triple points (can't remember what it was) voucher too. Both OH and I claimed a free can of elderflower drink from WHSm1th with 02 priority moments
Exercise - lots of walking around town - got my 10k steps in
Mental health -Was doing ok but I know OH is in a downward spiral, so that's affecting me
Be Christmas ready -Bought some HPotter bits in Primarni today for DD & DS2
Eat well - YesHM white toast for breakfast. Ham, spinach & tomato sandwich with HM seeded wholemeal bread for lunch. Avoided eats when out. Dinner is fajitas - so lots of mixed peppers, onions, garlic & chilli (and fresh tomato salsa)
Report/ Gratitudes -
* It's the weekend
* DS2 ploughing through his homework - slowly, but without complaint
* avoiding unnecessary spends on food/ drink when out (OH is terrible for this)I am the master of my fate; I am the captain of my soulRepaid mtge early (orig 11/25) 01/09 £124616 01/11 £89873 01/13 £52546 01/15 £12133 07/15 £NILNet sales 2024: £200 -

Checking in, today has so far been a NSD and as OH is treating me to a night out tonight it should stay that way. I think that takes me up to either 3 or 4, so unlikely to clear the target of 100 NSDs this year in total, but at least I have already beaten my total for last year.
Did a massive food inventory. I think I am going to do an inventory of my baking stuff as I accidentally bought 2 x 20cm sandwich tins this week when it turned out I already had some. Booooooo
Just come back from a 5k walk, earned £5 in Amazon vouchers on Opinion Outpost today, should be sent a product to test sometime soon, the house is tidy and I am relaxed.Debt Free Stage 1 - Completed 27/08/2020

Today I am grateful for dd surviving dance after a very late night, for making cinnamon oaty crispie thingies, for finding myself a warm hoodie for £1, for having a day off from crafting, for speedy buses both ways, for watching a barb1e cmas movie that makes me want to skip forward a month (yikes!), for dh making tea, for there being three rugby matches on normal telly, for there still being another day of the weekend left, for re-reading nsk's Debt Destruction December from 2013 .NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0

Day 18
Was a spend day. Signature and notebook now all up to date, including the spends from yesterday.
Organise - Sorted out lunch for today. Did some food shopping. Put out the rubbish and recycling.
Clear out - Just deleted some emails and some paperwork that needed shredding(paperwork went into the recycling).
Value for money - Used a price guarantee voucher for part of my shopping.
Mental Health - Did have a reasonable night sleep. Still tired. Did rest my eyes for a little while in the hospital.
Grateful for:
My Mum eating more today than what she has been doing.
Getting home a little bit earlier.
Having a chilled out evening.
Was unable to go to the play at a local theatre, they kindly put the money I paid onto my account. I must pay for another play in the next 4 weeks. The new brochure is coming out soon. Hopefully I can go to see the other play.Frugal Living Challenge 2025 Mortgage free as of 1st August 20130 -
Saturday
10/18NSDs very pleased, Saturdays used to consist of walking round the shops buying things I thought we needed and we no longer do this so that is helping a great deal.
Organize -menu wrote on the fridge (we have a Martha Stewart dry wipe days of the week sticker on there) , veggies prepped for the week. Daughter is competing tomorrow so packed lunch all done and in the fridge.
I have been sorting some future financial planning out today as I want to make a concerted effort to make a dent in some debts next year. I have increased hrs by 1.5 a week and have had a pay rise that will hit next months pay so there's some wiggle room now, I also have one debt I have just cleared so I have that extra too. I may even start a diary.
Value for money - I got lots of kisses and cuddles from daughter today for nothing so exceptional value for money today hehehe
Exercise - none sorry
Mental health - neither up nor down so can I claim normal?
Be Christmas ready - nothing today.
Eat well - we had a Sunday lunch as daughter is away tomorrow, I get another tomorrow as I'm going to parents for another roast yum yum. Loads of veggies as standard, normally half the plate.
Thankful for -a lazy, cozy day with no stresses.
