sashanut - Thank you. My Mum is from County Kerry. Do you have relations in County Cork? Sadly we have not been able to go to County Kerry for the last 16 or so years due to my Mum's mobility/health. I do not own a car.

NSD - No need to buy anything today so 8/12 so far.
Organise - Grocery Budget now £191/£283. Its my pay day today but I get paid 4 weekly so I have to pretend I haven't got it until 1st Dec! Changed my car insurance recently new company need proof of NCD not happy with what I've sent so brought documents into work to photocopy, scan and email so should be all sorted. Such a faff surely they can just send it to each other!

Exercise - I'm not on the school run today so won't be doing any today.
Mental Health - Household paperwork sorting is irritating me. Didn't sleep through last night but had a good few nights previous so hasn't really affected me today. Also excited for C Parcs next week always helps when there is something to look forward to.
Xmas/DS Birthday - I've brought some invites into work to write in my break later. Although starting to think maybe he should be doing his own now.
Eat Well - Double fruit today and drinking water. Found a half empty box of special k in the cupboard so brought some into work to pick at through out the day. Not sure about tea tonight - whats everyone else having?!
Be Grateful - For emergency after school club having a space. My Mum isn't feeling well with a cold she usually picks up on a Thursday but doesn't want DS to catch it before our hols.
Declutter - Stuck with the DVDS going to try on eb@y individually first. Using up special k!

Change the way you see things and the things you see will change
• I am being such a slob - think I'm still in holiday mode! Did go for a walk to the shops but spent the rest of the day watching War and Peace on catch up TV. Oh well, had a nice day which is good for my mental health.
I have just realized how little time I have to sort Christmas out. Going to the Lakes for two weeks on 2 December so tomorrow into town to try and get most of the last bits and pieces sorted. Other than that today was a total write off. Oh well tomorrow is another day - must redouble my efforts.
Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.

Day 16 /30 Checking in

NSD - Nothing spent today, so 9/12 so far.
Organise - Did some sorting out in the garden today, harvested a bag of leeks and did a bit of housework / tidying, and used up food already cooked in the fridge :)
Declutter - Found a Christmas jumper that OH didn't know he had (maybe a joke present from one of the children a few years ago?). He said he most certainly didn't want it, and suggested it go in the CS box. Box now full and in car ready to go :)
Value for money - Nothing here today, as I haven't spent anything.
Exercise - Two dog walks plus some gardening (forking compost, and carrying buckets of it to tip around base of fruit trees) so think I have done my bit today!
Mental Health - Feel a bit better today -probably the gardening :)
Xmas - Nothing today apart from putting precooked Christmas pudding away in the larder
Eat Well - Not bad :)
Be Grateful - Grateful for a nice morning which enabled me to mostly dry a load of washing outside and get out in the garden to do some seasonal tidying :)

Today I am grateful for my comfy walking boots, for a good day at work, for finding some useful things for my y11s, for a dry day, for bumping into a good friend when I picked up dd, for being 'nearly ready' for a craft evening tomorow, for dh's bacon and macaroni cheese concoction tasting delicious.
