NSDs - still on 12/18. Definitely not a NSD yesterday as I bought a car :)

Organise - made soup in the slow cooker to take for work lunches (thanks to whoever said this, I've made lentil and plan to make something different over the weekend so there's a choice). Used up a tub of hm stock that's been in the freezer a while. Took another tub out of the freezer for tea, couldn't remember what it was but turned out to be leftover coq au vin. Got my payslip through so need to organise a budget for next month.

Value for money - think I got a good deal with the car.

    Exercise - usual walk.

Mental health - still feeling good :D

Be Christmas ready - nothing more done here.

Eat well - yep, apple at lunch and plenty of veg with tea.

Report - 19/30, grateful for a nice surprise when I looked at my payslip, feeling positive, eating from the freezer and my first wee car :D
    Mortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500  1.9.25 - £106,033.77
    Mortgage overpayment savings - £0.35/£50
Mortgage overpayments so far - £738.97

    Hi All

    Just checking in :hello:

NSD-13/16 need to get to 14 by the end of the week, no hope for tomorrow as its pay day and then out on Saturday.

Organise- doing house work tonight once my boys are in bed and getting my ironing done so I can enjoy my weekend with them :)

    Value- not spending

Healthy Eating and Excersize- I will try :D

Christmas- might do some wrapping later if I have time, hoping B&M are doing the 10% off everything tomorrow for black Friday as there is a few bits I need to get anyway. Really grateful that I only have a few finishing touches to get as we have a lot of social things next month that , although they are pre paid, I will need spends for *gulp* think I can just about make it and not touch savings but I really need to behave myself. However, there are people with much bigger problems (financial and otherwise)this time of year than possibly needing to touch savings, and I need to remember that :rudolf:

Mental health- feeling better after a few days of being under the weather. Got an okay nights sleeps. Hurrah.

Gratitude's- the mince pies my boss brought into the office. I haven't packed snacks in my lunch either because I knew we had office snacks in- saving £s and lb's :rotfl: my toddler feeling my temperature and kissing my head when I said I felt unwell, like I do to him, ADORABLE :kisses3: and for feeling slightly better...

*** Just realised I have £10.50 worth of T0sc0 vouchers to spend.
That's a lot of chocolate buttons!

So I am going to go and look for some bargains for stockings and advent calendars.

How's that for Value for Money and Organisation

I may not even spend anything. Who knows?, so I have printed them out in values of 2 x £1 and 1x£4.00 and 1 x £4.50 just in case. Not bad for random no cost to me vouchers.

Also won a £10 amazon voucher so stuck that on my account for when I start buying for the kids.

Early check in today - busy evening :) Also have part of the fence down after yesterday's strong winds.

Clear Out - used up 2 part used sheets of awkward circular labels (no template, nor do they work with any standard template online, so I had to make my own) to print out labels for sloe gin/ raspberry gin/blackberry liqueur for Xmas presents. Also reduced 3 sheets of Xmas-y stickers (used by the kids on their cards) down, as some weren't actually very Xmas-y (they were sticker sheets from inside a story book, so a lot related to the story, rather than Xmas per se) Only tiny steps, but actually good ones (for me) Oooh - have also set aside 3 new (still shrinkwrapped) toiletry items (B0dysh0p) to take into work (a school) next week for their Xmas fayre

NSDs -6 - although I have spent money online today, it is on Xmas presents for my children from my mum, so she will be transferring the money back to me

Organise - set your budgets now, pay to your debt/savings first
    Food - £294.161/ £400 - Sains shop today
    Fuel (me) - £84.45/ £65 -
    Social - £125.74/ £150 -
    Toiletries - £2/ £10
    Clothes - £115.48/£100 -
Gifts ( also have DD's birthday just before Xmas and DS2's just after) - £430.14 -

Value for money -used tcb, reward points and a reward CC to do the Xmas spending mentioned above

    Exercise -

Mental health - better than it was. An improvement - however small - is good :)

Be Christmas ready -labelled HM alcohols. Wrapped some presents/ wrote some cards. Updated spreadsheet.

    Eat well - yes.

    Report/ Gratitudes -
    * using up various gift bags and boxes (pre used) for presents - reducing the number of them/ volume of Xmas packaging
    * Having (more than) enough
    * Children being in fab moods this morning
    * the quote for my kitchen flooring coming out less than expected :j
    * OH coming home tonight (away last night for work)
    * Getting my Jan/ early Feb hours for school #2 - should only be a potential clash with school #1 on 2 part days, and that's easily covered (I try and balance my time between them, but it's not easy!)
I am the master of my fate; I am the captain of my soul
    Repaid mtge early (orig 11/25) 01/09 £124616 01/11 £89873 01/13 £52546 01/15 £12133 07/15 £NIL
    Net sales 2024: £20

    Day 23

    NSD - 12/18
    Food - £124.00/£100
    Exercise - 9/20
    Studying - 15/25
    Clear out - 15/30
Extra income - £101.47/£100 - used a voucher for stuff I needed to buy.

Feeling slightly better today, thank you all, not getting out of the house really doesn't help me. Today I am grateful for helpful peers at uni who helped me complete an assignment, grateful that the assignment has now gone and for still having a decent amount of time left for revision and preparation for my exams, I MUST stop putting this off.

  • Still on NSD 8/12. Since we were out I stocked up on some things that the boy will need whilst we're away (only £9.00 in total so not too bad).

Other than that just walked to polling station and shops. Salmon from freezer for tea for us and pie for the boy. Getting through the washing but it is taking so long to dry and we do have limited space. But, basically a good day.

    Hope you are all well.
Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.

Batched cooked a vat of vegetable curry made from vegetable I got for free on OLIO, so Value for Money there. Made good headway with my to do list, will do 60 minutes on the exercise bike before too long.

Grateful for - Struggling with this today :( but I am grateful to have had the opportunity to get out in the garden, being able to turn the heating off for most of the day and to have got quite a bit of housework done :)
