You can set up DDs with the current eSaver that's open to anyone: https://www.santander.co.uk/uk/savings/esaver

You can also set up DDs with their Everyday Saver (not mentioned but it's an eligible account): https://www.santander.co.uk/uk/savings/everyday-saver

Can I check please? I've got an old Santander account that was originally opened in 2014 as an esaver, but Santander later amended it to an Everyday Saver. On the "savings direct debit form" (that I got from this forum), there are three options to select under the title "service user number". Are these sort codes? If they are, none of them match the sort code of my now Everyday Saver. Do you know if I can still use this form to set up a DD (funding mandate)?

They're not sort codes; SUNs are part of the Direct Debit protocol. Perhaps best to contact Santander - and/or open one of the three accounts that they mention on the form.

Can the Santander eSaver have more than one linked account and/or can you have more than one eSaver?

With Post Office and Birmingham Midshires, can you choose the date the DD is taken?

I'm opening a TSB Classic Plus account this week and need two DDs, so if I can open both of these savings accounts this month and the DD's go out at the end of the month, I'll get an extra month of £5 from TSB for having two DD's go out this month as well as November and December.

Birmingham Midshires is also a yes.... I have accounts with both PO and BM, and you can choose the date for the DD on both.

Yes in branch. Won't be my main current account. Only doing it for the interest and potentially 3 months DD cashback.

So it's possible to open a current account this week, open both the PO and NM and get the direct debits set up to be taken before the end of the month to qualify for the £5 from TSB?
