    We come home tomorrow :j:j:j

    I saw a van today...http://www.atbcivil.com/
    and thought of YOU!

Flying wise I washed 3 loads and pegged them out and have almost cleaned the LR as per Tiesday's list. Stripped DS's bed. And I have binned and flung and allocated and, strangely, this has made me feel happy because, in my mind, I have spoken to my sister and said things like 'what are you keeping this for?' and 'get it flung'..long term flyladies might remember I often went to hers to 'organise' her (which is where I learned about 'emotional attachment' to junk). So revisiting her stuff was like being with her...
I am beyond thrilled that, in amongst the stuff, is her teddy and a koala she had as a child. I so didn't want them to be thrown. And she went to Australia and loved it so and held a real koala eventually!

Morning all, just popping in before I leave for the paid stuff.

I’ve done no flying this week so expect to have to catch up at the weekend.

    Have a great day everyone.

I'm so glad you got to spend time with your sister, Valli, so to speak. And really, really chuffed that you've got her teddy and koala. There are some things that must be kept forever - and some that must be given away, like wool. Lovely.
One side effect of Flying in the house is that I am more conscious of what I'm eating and drinking and the result is I have eaten better, drunk a lot more water and a lot lot lot less wine! Have also been trying to walk more, both by going for walks and by using free parking which is 10 - 15 minutes walk from work.

I think of being a Flylady as spring cleaning my life. If it were just the house that isn't a midden any more it would be a success in it's own right, but the knock on effect for me has been amazing and utterly transformative. I heart Flyladies because between them over the past few years they've made it possible for me to say I've got my life back.
    We come home tomorrow :j:j:j

    Welcome home ATB!

Good luck with the interviews, Lynnejk. Will be thinking of you and sending you *good luck vibes* on Friday afternoon. Please don't forget to let us know how it goes.

FFP I forgot to say that it sounds as though you've been through an extremely tough time, but it sounds as though you've managed to pull everything back together again really well. Good on you.

I hope it settles down Dizzy and you get some calm back in your life. Is this the final push before you can move back into the house?

Been hectically busy here for a few days and I think I'm just about managing to keep up but I'm aware that there is a light sprinkling of Kelpie fur over everything on the ground floor and I haven't got time to vacuum it all up before I need to be out of the house for a few hours in about 15 minutes time. Will catch up later.
    Better is good enough.

Sorry I haven't caught up with the thread, so hugs and sticks where needed. I'm just going to hang onto my spoons for the moment if that's ok. I'm about to take DD for an emergency scan and consultant visit. We are both beyond scared at what might have reappeared, so flylady posi vibes much appreciated for the next couple of hours. X

It has been so therapeutic; I feel so much 'lighter'. The support from the Flyladies over all this period has been amazing, as has the support from RL friends and colleagues.

Done lots of recycling flinging; and straightened dining room. I need to finish off LR and check today's list, and I need to iron.

Welcome back FFP - and pleased you're getting your life on track. Thinking of Fayolle and DD

Big (((hugs))) and spoons to Fayolle and DD xx

Hope things calm down for you soon, Dizzy x

I have prepped tea and set it simmering in the SC, typed up the minutes of yesterday's meeting, taken Rosie for a walk, cooked an early lunch, put up a thermos flask of soup for DH and washed up.

DH is now at the dentist's to have a new crown fitted, then he has to go to the horse piddle for a lung function test, and he wants to leave home by 4.30 to work on the ghost trains this evening.

I have 2.5 hours in which to clear paperwork off the spare bed.
