Bil had arranged to meet me to hand over sis's stuff I am to determine the fete (sic) of. But he had a mishap so I have been to pick it up. 2 hr drive, no offer of tea/comfort break...
TBH some could have just been binned. But some is nice to have.
    Kitchen better...

    Big hugs to Kaz x

Final day of hols here, in the morning we have to be off early to the airport. Actually had a pleasant day yesterday- we ate out for all meals bar breakfast, so much less work to do.

HB the airport palaver puts me off too, if we opt to go away next year a cruise starting with a coach trip to the port sounds much nicer though I doubt my bank balance would agree!

Long list of things to do on Friday starting with renewing TV licence and paying for DD swimming lessons, money leaks!

In and amongst the 'stuff' there are balls of wool. They are not 'odds' but 'sets' of, some sets of 3 some of 4 so would suit anyone knitting for children.

Nice wool too...anyone who might be able to use them please shout...

    In bed with coffee.

    Way to go, Frodders! Enjoy.

Today is I have to take DD to a couple of appointments, including the opticians, which I am sure will be expensive. A few chores to be run while we are there, and I might even make it to the market for f&v which has been a bit lacking this week.

Bed changed - mine not DD's as she's still in it, and apparently it disturbs her if I do it while she is still sleeping in it. WM doing its stuff now. A small ironing pile will be tackled. PC has just managed to get through installing its updates, after it crashed last night. Not until after it had been plodding along for about 4 hours though.

    Have a good day everyone.

Are there a disgusting number of fruit flies these last few years or am I just a grub?? I dont ever recall seeing such things ever until the last few years.

Yes. and all other flies, IMO. It's like my mother's house in terms of flying pestilence carriers, despite not having anything manky around either in the house or garden and animal waste being cleaned immediately it's left (which was what I attributed the childhood bug issues to). Not so many other bugs and beasties, though - I suppose the decline in insects in the news only applies to ones we don't hate.

    Check fire alarms are working

Himself is cooking. So that one's sorted.

Add 'open the doors and flap the front one open and closed repeatedly whilst earphones are firmly embedded in ears to block out the flaming alarms screeching.

Think I will get on with the windows in a minute. After all, they're open already.
