Sorry your holiday isn't so great ATB.
Several people - you don't need to be on FB to join in the Xmas card sending, the lovely Natty sorts it out if you pm her.

Went to gym this morning and did Core Express and Clubbercise.
Did a bit of report writing.
Went to tip, CS (well to be honest Mr N dropped me off at sports shop and PC W*rld so I could look at wireless headphones to make my running less of a self-strangulation process).
    Went to L*dl.
Visited sick friend, chemo & radio starts early Nov.
    Did more report writing.

Iona thanks for encouraging me to stay on the thread. One fairy was seen twice last week so hopefully the gang will return soon.

  • Ouch Kaz hope that gets sorted quickly!

Dont have to leave the house at 7am this morning so have doodled about on the internet for half an hour. Must shift myself now. Both lots of paid stuff today but working from home this afternoon.

Off to finish the kitchen floor from yesterday (no point in doing it when everyone is about), get a shower, tidy and assess the LR to see what needs doing later, pack lunches, put some recycling out and get off to work.

Have a good Tuesday everyone x
  • Morning all x
kaz I feel your pain I ended up with a trip to a &e during the last bank holiday. Not nice hope you get sorted soon xxx

I'm just waiting on my lift. Beds are made, dinner is in the slow cooker, packed lunches are done and in bags, I'm decluttered of dirt AND I have moisturiser on my face!

Hope you all have a great day xxx

DS cooked for himself and gf.
Three course slap up meal, hm soup for starters. Whizzed. Tomato...
There isn't a clean dessert spoon in the place. I shall eat my breakfast with a soup spoon.
Then I am going out, favour for a friend selling her house, then an errand, I am NOt cleaning the kitchen.

Ouch Kaz, I hope you're getting it sorted, and fast.

Last night's good intentions if there ever were any went to pot. DD and I indulged and watched Dirty Dancing! Again!!

I'm off work today, so obviously I was wide awake at 6am. Determined not to give in and get up, then at 7am DH texted to say that the airport was really busy. Like I needed to know that??! I only have my phone by me when one of them is away or there's a potential emergency, so I wasn't really best pleased. Still, I did my best and stayed in bed until 8. ;)

We're off to the big town today to mooch around. Actually I think DD's aim is to get lunch out, but she is pretending that window shopping is in order.

I have an hour to get myself into gear and do something from yesterday's or today's lists. Oh the choice.. :D
  • Today is a much better day :j kids slept for 13 hours so are in much brighter spirits (still looking forward to coming home though :rotfl:)

Thanks for being my friends and listening xx

ATB (((HUGS))) I liked the self-catering holiday we had some years back - but it was only the two of us, and I wasn't expected to do anything housework-y at all. We ate our main meal out every day, and had cereal and sandwiches in the apartment.
I think you need to put your foot down - ANY future self-catering holidays will be: 1) NO cooking involved, that's what cafes and restaurants are for. 2) ANY form of essential housework will be shared between all members of the family. Even little ones can surely tidy their toys, put their clothes in a neat pile, and wield a dustpan and brush.

I need to declutter some excess loose fur from Meg, ready for her return home later today; I shall throw the Dys0n round after she's left. (Pick-up due at 16:00) The dog hair doesn't show on the beige lounge carpet, but I'm betting there's a load of it down there.
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

    Fruit delivery received.
Chatted with workers gutting next door.. they are very pleasant but keep waking Twinkle when she naps.. it has to be done though and the 2-3 weeks work is now 4 months!!

I need to pop for something for the girls for dinner. I cooked bolognese last night because OH came home starving so I shall add grated carrots to bulk it and we shall have that tonight but DS3 and the 3 girls won't eat mince or gravy or anything remotely food like so I need to grab something for them so go with their pasta.. I might just do chicken bits for DS3.. he can have chicken 3 days running right? lol He won't eat mince/burger/fish/gravy.. which leaves very little which counts as food.. he has Aspergers but at 18 he should have realised that letting it control his life will not progress him anywhere, he needs to fight the urge to be hysterical about textures and try new things.. I ate broccoli yesterday.. utterly disgusting stuff I loathe it, it's like eating a hairball.. I'm not expecting him to do anything I won't.

Wheelie bins were emptied today so I have 2 beautiful empty bins to fill.. off to make a start before I have to collect girls from school anyone up for a HHC?? 1-1:30.. give me time to get Twinkle some lunch for her to throw on the floor!
