Thanks LW. I became a big Kon-Mari fan a couple of years ago and have completely decluttered my house. It will always be an ongoing project for me but it has definitely helped me to keep things tidy and organised. The vase was special because it celebrated our new home and us starting out in out life together and I was tempted to put it in the loft but it would have stayed there indefinitely.
