Valli your post made me smile. I bet your sister is smiling too at the thought of you finding her cuddly toys.
Natty that's rough. Hugs. And JoJo didnt realise you had health problems too, you always sound so upbeat (then again so does LW and we all know what she has to cope with!).
Busy day at both paid stuff. Really ought to tackle a bit more as DH didnt make it to work again today and we have a bill coming for the boiler repair.
Oh and we will be pleased to welcome you home atb my love.

The end of the week is in sight. And I am happy with the house. Washing is all up tp date, washing up has been done every evening so nice to come down to in the morning. I have kept on top of keeping tidy and have changed bedding for DD2. Have also run a few essential errands.
This is my 4th week and I hoped that putting things away would be come a habit but sadly not yet for me. It has been a slog all week but I did it, and this was a week that was always going to be very challenging, intense week at work, OH travelling plus loads of bits and bobs that normally would have resulted in a pile of dirty dishes and clothes all round the place.
I am summing up my week tonight as working tomorrow morning then lunch out and then off for weekend to go and pick up DD2. Back home with her on Sunday whe. DD1 should also be home for a few days as its holiday time here and we have public holiday on Wednesday, hooray! So no new objectives for next week as will have loads of extra washing and want to enjoy time with girls. But I will keep done parts tidy and will not go backwards.
Sorry to hear so many of you are suffering,0 -

Aaaah. Not happy. DH has come back from seeing his consultant..who isn't happy with him. They've now stopped oral Methotrexate,
Sorry to hear that, it isn't a nice drug in many ways as Jo-Jo will testify and also Mr N has it for rheumatoid arthritis (true LW it is used for a range of things). He feels queasy for a couple of days after it, which doesn't do his already underweight body much good. :grouphug:Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0 -

I'm taking it for my now rediagnosed Psoriatic Arthritis - used to be told it was Rheumatoid, but I actually managed to get seen by a smart GP when I had a massive, huge, all body attack of Psoriasis for the first time - the new diagnosis makes perfect sense as I've previously failed to respond or progress in the way that is expected for RA and the presentation/sites affected are more consistent with PsA - it's thought that RA doesn't affect the back, hips or tendons where I've had problems with all of them for years, for example, so didn't get particularly effective treatment (or any, more to the point).
Interesting, they first thought Mr N's was PsA as he's had psoriasis for years, then they decided RA. He's not terribly convinced that it helps either condition and as he's short of 2m of bowel following an accident some years back, he needs all the weight he can get so feeling far from hungry for 2 + days each week isn't helpful.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0 -

We'll see, hopefully, if it does much for me now I've been referred to a proper hospital, rather than the frankly crappy local ones that couldn't arrange blood tests on time, lost the results, wouldn't answer the dedicated emergency phone and kept cancelling an urgent, must be done within a week appointment repeatedly for 22 months - until I went ballistic at my new, smart GP when my hand was swollen up like a balloon, clumps of hair were falling out underneath the scales on my scalp and my face was snowing. It's purely due to her contacting this hospital and stating Very Clearly what she had seen that they didn't immediately discharge me back with a diagnosis of Fat Middleaged Woman Disease (Fibromyalgia), as naturally, by the time the appointment came through, there was none of the above visible. Fortunately, whilst they leapt to that first conclusion, they listened to her comments following the clinic letter, referred me to another Professor in the department and he immediately accepted me on his list.
I'm sorry your DH is in that situation, though. I've probably got a few years of energy reserves to call upon before I get anywhere near that level - my backside alone could keep me going for about a year of no food at all
Gig was OK, turned a bit off at the end, somebody got hurt accidentally and then all the p*ssed up silly mares decided to get involved - we were well away from the kerfuffle, but Himself picked up my jacket and left without saying anything; I didn't catch up with him until he was about to cross the road. This meant that I was less than delighted with him, travelled back in near silence as I was a little preoccupied with the result of not getting the chance to say I needed to visit the Ladies before we left and, once we got home via tubes and train and buses, I covered the distance from the front door to the bathroom in record time
I did consider asking him once I sat on the sofa 'what's for breakfast, then?', as he's made absolutely zero effort to cook today. But in all honesty, I still don't really feel like eating. I would have the rest of my bottle of Lucozade. But somebody has apparently drunk it whilst I was busy sighing my sigh of relief in the bathroom.
And, breathe.....tomorrow is, of course, another day. And if he dares to claim that the flu jab has made him feel unwell, as he hinted at earlier (within an hour of having it - reverse placebo effect or what?), and therefore stays in bed and doesn't attempt to provide the catering tomorrow, I might need a special flying list for cleaning up of evidence.I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0 -
I've just spent a happy hour cleaning my kitchen :T sooooo glad to be home.
Back later xxMFW
