I'm afraid I need to postpone the kitchen til Wednesday; as part of it I need to defrost and clean the freezer, and that's not really very practical with a very nosy, food-oriented Retriever on the premises. She's going home tomorrow afternoon, so it makes sense to leave the kitchen til she's gone; I can get all the yellow dog hairs up at the same time, too. ;)

I'm in please. Thank you for the lists again. I'll do my best to keep up this week. After today I'm not at work for the rest of the week, but we might have a bit of a medical panic going on with DD. Fingers crossed it's a panic over nothing.

    Right - back to work!

  • I'm in! Sorry I'm late! I missed most of last week because of the lurgy, but I think I've finally turned a corner as I feel much better now.

Can't do *much* flying today as it is DD's birthday so I need to prep for that, and also we have parents evening straight afterwards, too.

    I will however -

    Tidy kids bedroom
    Tidy kids playroom
    Hoover bedrooms and landing
Very quick S&S in kitchen and living room.

Hope everyone is having a great Monday!

    Howdi partners x

    Ground floor dysoned
    5xwm done
    Ds2' bed stripped
    Master bed stripped
    Both beds remade
    Stairs dysoned
    Upstairs dysoned
    Bathroom cleaned

I'm avoiding the kitchen so far.

Half the bedding is in the TD as it is miserable weather here today.

Just got home from taking ds2 to the dentist. He is now having some screen time.
I'm glued to the sofa as Miss Muddy Paws is having a nap on my knee.

Thank you Natty and Valli for the lists x

I'm in this week, main objective is to progress. No going backwards! Plan for this week is to keep on top of areas already tidy and try and do some of the things on the list to start getting the tidied areas a bit cleaner and also have a quick clean through DD2 bedroom. It's quite tidy so really just needs a dust, vacuum and clean bedding, she's home from uni for a week next week so it must be done this week.

As usual I will be listing what I've done rather that what I should have done.

    So far today
Bed made, weekend bags unpacked and put away, bed and bathroom tidied round and in good shape.
    WM on
Worked, lesson prepared for tomorrow, been shopping, dinner planned.
Living room and Kitchen looking good.
Finishing my cuppa and will go and look at what is on the list I can do in the kitchen.

This is my 4th week on here and I am seeing the difference, just need to keep at it but I can feel motivation is flagging today (grey drizzle isn't helping either)

    Still let's do something!

ATB .. that was exactly why we didn't go on holiday from 2005 until this year.. last time it was me, CF and 7 children under 10. This time it was me, OH DD3 (16) and 4 under 7. OH is not a chocolate teapot.. he is a bit wet and needs guidance but on the whole he is grand. DD3 can wash up, make food, dress children and the best part is responsible enough to keep an eye on small daft people. I also got a caravan which had an enclosed decking area so the smalls could play outside without having to be 100% supervised.. it was so much better going with more adults rather than just 1. Mine were all ill with some random rashy virus, the baby was teething and noone was murdered. My advice.. leave dad at home and take a responsible grown up not a big child. If possible get an extra pair of hands and above all. . DELEGATE! .. we walked through the door I said 'I am not washing any pots all week, I don't care who does it but I will not. I will sort food and clothes. I am not a slave' ... and they were ok. We also had a good behaviour chart and prizes for the best behaved.

Best go pretend I can find some food in my empty freezers!
