Right to work docs, yes a current uk passport is enough proof. They may have already had the details when your DBS got done and wouldn't need them again on that basis. It's the DBS check that wants birth certificates and bank statements, etc that people find harder to provide. All employers should check that employees are legally entitled to work in the uk before they start work, but some places are more relaxed about it than others.
Hope this helps. My mortgage free diary: +++ Divide by Cucumber Error. Please reinstall universe and reboot+++

It's a lovely day today, warm and sunny. Whilst I'd love to go out somewhere, we need to work on my business today. But I want to finish early so that I have time to relax before tomorrow. I have put the washing in the garden to dry though
.
I slept much better last night so I feel more cheerful today too

I'll be thinking of you tomorrow, HH. Hoping you have a really good first day:beer:. At least it's only a couple of hours a day (I think that's what you said it was) so you'll be home again before you know it:j
I just checked the details for Martin's ITV show tomorrow evening and he's covering PPI for the last time before the deadline. There's also going to be something about workplace pensions which might be useful to you. The trouble is the show is only half an hour and he has to cram so much information in that he can't really cover anything in depth.0 -
Good luck for tomorrow! Glad you are closer to getting more of the admin sorted out. I've spent the day doing work/admin too

.
My job is only an hour and a half a day, but I'll be doing my usually volunteering first so I'll be busy all morning. I'm sure I'll enjoy it.
I'll need to get used to another new normal now I have a job with the knock on effects on the rest of my activities, but it's a very good change in my life
.
I do have a tendency to over analyse everything but I can't seem to help it
. Anyway I'm convinced that this particular change in my life is going to be a very positive one
