  • Yay,I'm glad your first day went well and that the sun was also shining which makes everything feel better
I think a lot of people are feeling unsettled at the moment,I've been like it for weeks, but I think some of it is down to the time of year and the dark and cold,I know I feel like this every winter which sorymof makes it easier to deal with

Thanks OBL :). I've definitely been struggling with the dark evenings as they can make me feel very gloomy. The sunshine is lovely this week, so I hope it lasts. I also want dry playtimes to last :rotfl:.

    What's sorymof by the way?

  • I feel absolutely shattered this afternoon and I had a headache by the time I got home from work.

But it took me ages to fall asleep last night as I was feeling sad about my mum and my sister :( (I was even missing my grandparents who have been dead for over thirty years, that's how melancholy I was feeling :() so I'm probably just tired. I was in a deep sleep of course when my alarm went off at 7am .

I hope I'm not catching a lurgy as I can't be off sick my first week on the job . Even if I broke my leg I'd have to limp in on crutches :rotfl:. So I've been taking echinacea and I'm going to make sure I go to bed early tonight. I don't have to get up early tomorrow as I don't start work until 11.45 :D.

Hope you sleep a bit better tonight HHD or at least manage to have a good lie-in tomorrow. Children are exhausting to look after when there's just a few never mind a dinner hall and playground full of them :D

Sorry to hear you're feeling melancholy, sometimes the only answer to these sort of feelings is to have a blooming good cry and let it all out. xx

Thanks TF2 :). Hopefully I will sleep better tonight. I'm sure it will be less tiriing when I get more used to it.

I think the melancholy is partly due to DS2 going abroad again, it's just one change too many. But going to work today helped to make me feel more cheerful and to take my mind off it :).
